Travel Advisory: Hurricane Irma

Since Tuesday September 5, Air Canada has operated a total of 30 additional flights, as well as larger aircraft with more seats, to bring over 7,000 customers home early from the affected areas including Antigua, Cuba, Turks and Caicos, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Bahamas and Florida.

Air Canada Vacations is respecting the goodwill policy implemented by Air Canada, for customers who purchased tickets no later than September 4, 2017 or September 7, 2017. Affected customers may rebook an alternate Air Canada Vacations package by October 15, 2017 for travel anytime. Customers are responsible for any price differential resulting from selection of a higher-priced alternative.

Air Canada Vacations is continuing to follow the situation after the passing of Hurricane Irma.  Scheduled flights that are not included in the goodwill policy found on Air Canada's website are going ahead as planned. We will continue to update this travel advisory as we receive news from the impacted locations. Additional updates will be provided on aircanadavacations.com as new information arises. Customers can also call toll-free: 1 800-296-3408.

For customers travelling to Cuba

For customers who have planned to travel to Varadero from today until September 30, 2017, please note all flights are canceled.
