Explore the youthful city of Calgary, then head to beautiful Banff, where you'll enjoy a wildlife safari. Continue to Revelstoke, with stops in picturesque Lake Louise, Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park. Next, visit the Okanagan, filled with fruit orchards, desert landscapes and lovely wineries. Your tour concludes in the spectacular city of Vancouver, where you'll explore all the major sites with the help of a hop-on, hop-off bus tour.

Fly into Calgary and drive your way through the experience of discovering parts of Canada one kilometer at a time. Suggested Itinerary

The day-to-day locations are already set and hotel accommodations will already be booked, but what you do during the day in each town or city is completely up to you. Below is a suggested itinerary of things to do and see so you can get the most out of your adventure. The beauty of this trip is that you can explore the country the way you want to. Just make sure to get to the hotel on time!

Day 1       Fly to Calgary
Pick up your rental car at Calgary airport and make your way downtown.

Day 2       Calgary - Banff (123 km)
Before leaving for Banff, check out the Calgary Tower for views over the city or the Calgary Olympic Park for a guided tour of the 1988 Winter Olympic site.

Day 3       Banff
Spend your day exploring the beautiful town and national park. Banff offers a wide variety of activities. The popular Sulphur Mountain Gondola provides stunning views, and The Cave and Basin National Historic Site offers a unique look at the history of Banff and the hot springs that led to the development of the area. In the evening, enjoy a two-hour guided wildlife tour.

Day 4       Banff - Revelstoke (281 km)
This morning head north to Lake Louise and marvel at the beauty of one of the most photographed vistas in the world. Your drive this afternoon takes you through Yoho National Park, Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park — some of the most scenically stunning areas of Canada.

Day 5       Revelstoke - Kelowna (205 km)
Today, watch the scenery around you change from rugged mountain peaks to the rolling valleys of the Okanagan. This region is the top wine-producing region of BC.

Day 6       Kelowna - Vancouver (392 km)

Travel along the shores of Lake Okanagan to Penticton. Continue via the small towns of Keremeos and Princeton into Manning Park, renowned for its hiking trails and wildlife. In the afternoon, travel through the fertile plains of the Fraser Valley before reaching your destination for tonight, the vibrant city of Vancouver.

Day 7       Vancouver

Vancouver is one of the most spectacular cities in the world. Enjoy a two-day pass to the hop-on / hop-off bus tour that gives you easy access to Vancouver's most popular areas like Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island and more!

Day 8       Fly home
Time for some last-minute shopping. Drop off your car at the airport in time for your flight home.

Included Activity

Evening Wildlife Safari (2 hrs) on Day 3:
This tour includes an interpretative guide who will provide detailed commentary about the wildlife and ecology of the National Parks. The tour includes transportation by minibus to key viewing sites with pick-up and drop-off at Banff hotel.

Car Rental

Inclusions: Mid-Size Category D (2 Door) or E (4 Door) with automatic transmission and unlimited mileage for 9 Days. Time (24 hrs basis), Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), CAD $1Million Third Party Liability Insurance Coverage, One (1) Additional Driver, Provincial & Other Taxes, Airport Contract Fees and air conditioning on all vehicles equipped with air conditioning.

Exclusions: Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance Plus (PAI Plus) & Personal Effects Protection (PEP), Other optional services such as refueling charges, applicable one-way service fees ($200 + applicable taxes, payable upon return at rental counter), extra additional driver's fee (3rd person and above), baby seats, ski racks, etc.; customer Convenience Fee at Calgary Airport: $6 per day maximum 7 days charge plus applicable taxes/fees; Drop Fee for one-way Rental of approx. $200 + applicable taxes; all extra charges are payable at rental counter and subject to change without notice; Anything not specifically noted above.
 
Minimum age for car rental is 21 with a prepaid voucher. A valid driver's license from country of origin must be presented at time of rental. All drivers under the age of 25 will be subject to a surcharge of CA$25.00 per day; subject to change. Certain car classes may not be available to drivers under age 25.
