Day 1            Arrive Edmonton

Upon arrival at Edmonton Airport make your way to the desk of the local scheduled transportation company for your transfer to Jasper.

Day 2            Jasper
Enjoy a free day to explore Jasper. Perhaps take a tour to explore the Columbia Icefield ($) or ride the Jasper SkyTram ($) to the top of Whistlers Mountain for breathtaking views.

Day 3             Jasper - Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 12,972 feet, Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 4            Kamloops - Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today's journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Days 5 & 6        Vancouver
Enjoy two days to explore Vancouver on your own. Take a walk or rent a bike ($) for a tour around the Seawall in Vancouver's Stanley Park or explore its 27 kilometers of trails. Or perhaps head north for a day trip to Whistler, take a walk across the Capilano suspension bridge, visit the picturesque Granville Island Public Market or relax and soak in the sun on one of Vancouver's beaches. There's no shortage of activities in this seaside city.

Day 7            Depart Vancouver
Make your way to the airport for your return flight home.

Please note there is one (1) transfer shuttle per day. Please ensure flight times are booked accordingly.
Shuttle departure from Edmonton Airport: 3 p.m.
Arrive in Jasper: 8 p.m.
