In Edmonton, visit the famous West Edmonton Mall or great museums, then continue on to charming Jasper, with incredible outdoor activities and sightseeing. Next, visit Banff and enjoy an evening wildlife safari. Travel to picture-perfect Lake Louise and Kootenay National Park. Relax in the sunny Okanagan and tour some of the many excellent wineries in the region. Last but not least, visit vibrant Vancouver and take in the sights and sounds of Stanley Park, Gastown and Chinatown.

Suggested Itinerary

The day-to-day locations are already set and hotel accommodations will already be booked, but what you do during the day in each town or city is completely up to you. Below is a suggested itinerary of things to do and see so you can get the most out of your adventure. The beauty of this trip is that you can explore the country the way you want to. Just make sure to get to the hotel on time!

Day 1       Fly to Edmonton
Fly to Edmonton. Pick up your rental car at the airport and make your way to your hotel.

Day 2       Edmonton - Jasper (Distance 365 KM)
Visit the Royal Alberta Museum or the West Edmonton Mall, the world's largest, before driving the rolling prairie landscape to Jasper in the Rocky Mountains.

Day 3       Jasper
Visit the many lakes of this beautiful area including Pyramid, Patricia and Maligne. At Maligne, stop for a walk in the narrow canyon. A ride on the Jasper Tramway gives you
an unforgettable view of the Rockies.

Day 4       Jasper - Banff (Distance 285 KM)
Drive south along the Icefields Parkway. Visit Moraine Lake, surrounded by 10 spectacular peaks. Take a trip across the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designed Ice Explorer before reaching Banff.

Day 5       Banff
Banff is Canada's first national park. Take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for a great view or visit The Cave and Basin National Historic Site for a history of the area. In the evening, your package includes a wildlife safari with mini-bus transportation and knowledgeable guide.

Day 6       Banff - Revelstoke (Distance 281 KM)

Your first destination today is Lake Louise, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately château. Continue on through some spectacular scenery in Yoho National Park, Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park.

Day 7       Revelstoke - Kelowna (Distance 285 KM)
Come down from the high mountains to the wineries and orchards of the sunny Okanagan Valley.

Day 8       Kelowna - Vancouver (Distance 392 KM)
On your way for a hike in the 66,884-hectare Manning Park, drive through charming Keremeos and Princeton. In the afternoon, travel through the Fraser Valley to Vancouver.

Day 9       Vancouver
A 24 hour hop-on / hop-off pass is included in your package. It's a fun and easy way to discover the most popular areas of Vancouver like the totem poles in Stanley Park and the waterfront at Canada Place.

Day 10       Fly home
Enjoy some last-minute shopping before dropping off your car at the airport for your flight home.

Included Activity

Evening Wildlife Safari (2 hrs) on Day 5:
This tour includes an interpretative guide who will provide detailed commentary about the wildlife and ecology of the National Parks. The tour includes transportation by minibus to key viewing sites with pick-up and drop-off at Banff hotel.

Car Rental

Inclusions: Mid-Size Category D (2 Door) or E (4 Door) with automatic transmission and unlimited mileage for 9 Days. Time (24 hrs basis), Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), CAD $1Million Third Party Liability Insurance Coverage, One (1) Additional Driver, Provincial & Other Taxes, Airport Contract Fees and air conditioning on all vehicles equipped with air conditioning.

Exclusions: Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance Plus (PAI Plus) & Personal Effects Protection (PEP), Other optional services such as refueling charges, applicable one-way service fees ($200 + applicable taxes, payable upon return at rental counter), extra additional driver's fee (3rd person and above), baby seats, ski racks, etc.; customer Convenience Fee at Edmonton Airport: $3 per day maximum 7 days charge plus applicable taxes/fees; Drop Fee for one-way Rental of approx. $200 + applicable taxes; all extra charges are payable at rental counter and subject to change without notice; Anything not specifically noted above.
Minimum age for car rental is 21 with a prepaid voucher. A valid driver's license from country of origin must be presented at time of rental.
