The day-to-day locations are already set and hotel accommodations will already be booked, but what you do during the day in each town or city is completely up to you. Below is a suggested itinerary of things to do and see so you can get the most out of your adventure. The beauty of this trip is that you can explore the country the way you want to. Just make sure to get to the hotel on time!

Day 1   Fly to Montreal
Fly to Montreal and pick up your car. Get to know this great city over dinner in fascinating Old Montreal.

Day 2   Montreal
Today, get to know more of Montreal. Shop on Saint Catherine Street or check out the collection
at the Fine Arts Museum. The bustling Atwater Market always has some great surprises.

Day 3   Montreal – Saint-Alexis-des-Monts (140 km)
Head for the open air as your drive through picturesque countryside to the Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts.

Day 4   Saint-Alexis-des-Monts
There’s lots do in the great outdoors at this charming country inn. Enjoy the resort facilities, go hiking or
head to the lake for fishing, swimming and more. All your meals are included today at the cozy restaurant.

Day 5   Saint-Alexis-des-Monts – Quebec City (205 km)

The cradle of French civilization in North America and the only fortified city north of Mexico City, Quebec City holds many treasures that will delight history and culture buffs alike.

Day 6   Quebec City
Have a drink on the famous Grande Allée and visit the dynamic Saint-Roch neighbourhood. Explore Old Quebec and its winding streets. Don’t miss the Plains of Abraham, the Place Royale or the Château Frontenac. For a spectacular view of the city from the river, take the ferry from Quebec City to Levis.

Day 7   Quebec City – Tadoussac (215 km)
Take the road towards Tadoussac. Canada’s oldest village is internationally recognized as an observation site for whales, where many species can be found.

Day 8   Tadoussac
Make the most of your time in Tadoussac with a 3-hour whale-watching boat tour across the wide waters of the Saint Lawrence, included in your package.

Activity: 3-hour whale-watching boat tour

Day 9   Tadoussac – Saguenay (130 km)

There is some spectacular scenery today as you make your way to the famous Saguenay Fjord. Be sure to stop at La Pulperie Regional Museum and the lookout in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord.

Day 10   Saguenay – Quebec City (210 km)
Drive back towards Quebec City. Take some time to relax in the Petit Champlain district and enjoy the view of the river from the Dufferin Terrace.

Day 11   Fly home

Leave your rental car at the Quebec City airport and fly home.

Inclusions: Intermediate car rental for 10 days (24-hour periods) with unlimited km, LDW insurances, 1st additional driver, GPS, 3rd party liability, fees and taxes

Exclusions: Tire Management Fee (Applicable Year-Round): $3.50 per day plus taxes payable at the AVIS car rental counter (subject to change)
