The Sands Barbados (Exclusive to Air Canada Vacations)

Please note that the local Barbados room levy fees will be charged and collected by the hotel locally by cash or credit card.

Please note, there will be a US $2.00 per room, per night (Optional) Barbados hotel & tourism marketing fund that is payable locally by guests.

A credit card authorization of US$200 will be taken at Front Desk as security for any incidental charges which you may incur. These may include but are not limited to long- distance telephone charges, remote controls, beach towels, snorkeling gear, rain umbrellas and/or watersports equipment. Alternatively, a cash deposit of US$ 200.00 may be deposited. This will be refunded should there be no incidental charges incurred.

These rooms are compact and open to internal corridors (no balcony or patio), limited to natural light with small windows.

Smoking is permitted inlimited areas around the hotel. Smoking is not allowed on roombalconies. Also, a cleaning fee of US$250 is applied to guest accountshould guests smoke in their rooms.

The 2 bedroom pool/garden duplex suite & 2 bedroom oceanview duplex suites are not suitable for families with small children.

On The Water Beachside Restaurant (Year Round): The evening dress code is smart casual which means that gentlemen may wear smart dress shorts and short sleeved shirts (polo shirts are allowed). Please note that no sports replica shirts or club branded merchandise are allowed at dinner. Smart jeans are allowed. No flip-flops or trainers are allowed in the evening in the restaurant. Cover-ups and footwear are required in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

Noir Restaurant (À la carte): Guests can dine in the à la carte restaurant once per stay, subsequent visits are at a supplement and dependent on availability. Children under 12 years are not allowed in the à la carte restaurant.  Noir is open on selected days of the week and reservations are subject to availability.

Full length trousers and shirts with sleeves, either long or short, are required for gentlelmen at dinner. No jeans, this applies to both ladies and gents and includes all denim wear. No three quarter pants, no shorts, cargos, no t-shirts, no trainers (sneakers), no flip-flops or caps are allowed in the restaurant.

Please note that AMEX Credit cards are not accepted.

Please be aware that the bedrooms only have air conditioning, while the separate living areas have ceiling fans.
