On November 1, 2024, Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro and Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana will become one hotel known as Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana. Its facilities will include: 1,428 rooms, 5 pools, 3 whirlpools, 7 restaurants, 8 bars.
Starting May 01, 2024 through November 19, 2024, renovations of 400 Junior Suites will take place as they are converted to new room categories.
The electric Train route between the mangrove and the new La Isla area will remain operational, only experiencing modifications to its route. It will move towards the sides of Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda and Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro, without interruption of service.
The work will not interfere with the operation of common areas and services of the rest of the resort. All work will be carried out daily (Mon-Sun) between 8am and 6pm. Any work generating noise will be conducted only after 9am.
