Fun Fact

Colombia could have been a little less caliente and a lot more…British. In 1741, the British attempted to conquer Cartagena in the Battle of Cartagena de Indias, but the Spanish valiantly defended the city with the help of Admiral Blas de Lezo. Look out for his statue in the Old Town and stand where the battle was won…at the Castillo San Felipe de Barajas fortress.
