Day 3

Athens: Sightseeing

This morning, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Athens where you’ll explore ancient sites, including the Acropolis. 

Activity Included

  • The Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum: Expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 (short stop). Then it’s on to see the Temple of the Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Continue on to visit the magnificent Acropolis to admire architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally the awe-inspiring Parthenon. Last stop is the New Acropolis Museum, a must-see in Athens and voted by the Sunday Times as the 3rd best museum of the world.

Day 4

Athens - Mykonos

After breakfast, transfer to the port of Athens for your ferry to Mykonos. Check into your hotel, then spend the rest of the day exploring this lively island.

Days 5 & 6

Mykonos: At Leisure

Spend two full days getting to know the international hotspot of Mykonos, with its cubic houses, windmills and chapels, great food and drink, and incredible nightlife.

Optional Activities ($):

Mykonos has been a popular destination for decades, and for good reason! Stroll through charming villages, gaze at the iconic windmills and chapels, or have a beach day. Explore the town's winding narrow streets, visit the Church of Panagia Paraportiani, or enjoy a drink in Little Venice.

Day 7

Mykonos - Crete

Transfer to the port for your hydrofoil to Crete, then transfer to your hotel in Heraklion.  Begin exploring Greece’s largest island known for important archaeological sites, beautiful beaches and enchanting villages.

Crete: At Leisure

Delve into Crete’s beauty and fascinating history over two full days.

Crete - Rhodes

Transfer to the airport for your local flight to Rhodes, then transfer to your hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day getting to know this amazing island on your own.

Rhodes: At Leisure

Take advantage of two entire days to explore the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands.

Optional Activities ($):

Check out Mandraki harbour (the old port), then head to the Old Town for a stroll down cobblestone streets and get a glimpse of perfectly preserved history as you see the impressive Palace of the Grand Masters and the medieval Street of the Knights. Explore the ancient Acropolis of Lindos, where incredible monuments abound.

Day 13

Rhodes - Athens - Return to Canada

After breakfast, transfer to Rhodes airport for your connecting flight to Athens and board your flight home.
