Welcome to Dublin - Co. Louth (approx. 75 km)

From the Dublin airport, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel in the County Louth area. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the area.

Day 3

County Louth - County Antrim (Belfast) (approx. 90 km)

Today, head to Belfast and take the time to discover the city and its rich history.

You can walk towards Albert Memorial Clock tower and the Opera House, which is one of Belfast’s great landmarks. On the way, you’ll pass by the City Hall, the Crown Bar, Queens University and the Botanic Garden. Don’t forget to visit the Titanic Experience, located in the heart of Belfast, the attraction recreates the story of the world’s most famous ship in a new iconic, six-floor building right beside the historic site of the original ship’s construction.

Day 4

County Antrim (Belfast) - Giant’s Causeway - County Derry (approx. 173 km)

This morning, leave Belfast for a drive along the Antrim Coast, to the impressive Giant’s Causeway. Continue on through Portrush and Portstewart to arrive in Derry.

The magnificent Antrim Coast runs north from Larne and curves around the base of steep headlands, through which the beautiful glens of Antrim open to the sea. On the northern coast, admire the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Giant’s Causeway, a striking basalt rock formation - it’s truly awe-inspiring!

Day 5

County Derry - Glenveagh National Park - County Donegal (approx. 119 km)

Today, take the time to discover Ireland’s breathtaking wild landscapes.

For example, you can explore Glenveagh National Park. Situated in northwest Donegal the national park is Ireland’s second largest with over 170 square kilometres, and where you’ll find hidden within the mountains the Glenveagh Castle on the shores of Lough Veagh.

Day 6

County Donegal - Wild Atlantic Way - County Mayo (approx. 150 km)

Today, drive along the Wild Atlantic Way and enjoy the scenery of Ireland’s very own Surf Coast. Continue towards Co. Mayo, your home for the night.

Drive along Ireland’s longest coastal route and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Surf Coast. Be sure to stop at Downpatrick Head, this jagged Mayo headland looms an astonishing 126 feet above the crashing Atlantic and is named after the country’s patron Saint.

County Mayo: County Galway (Connemara) (approx. 130 km)

This morning, travel to County Galway and visit Connemara. Overnight in Mayo area.

Discover the western part of County Galway, the Connemara region, a land of lakes, rivers and mountains. Explore this hidden valley with small villages where Gaelic is still the spoken language. Connemara is a real paradise for nature lovers and those in search of strong emotions.

County Mayo - County Meath (approx. 206 km)

This morning, leave the west coast of Ireland to return towards Dublin. On the way, veer off the beaten track to discover Lough Key Forest Park. Continue towards County Meath via the Boyne Valley, which is without a doubt the historical region of the whole island - so it’s not surprising to find the most important Irish monuments here. Overnight Meath area.
