Day 2

Kuala Lumpur – Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will meet your dedicated driver/tour guide in the lobby of your hotel and continue with a city discovery tour (duration of approximately 3.5 hours).

See Kuala Lumpur’s influential structures, from old Chinese houses to British colonial buildings. When you stroll down the city streets, you’ll notice that they are filled with colourful street art as per the city’s art movement. Hear music from buskers while admiring the local architectural brilliance and landscapes.

The tour then brings you to more dazzling sights and sounds, such as the King’s Palace, known as Istana Negara. These residences belonging to the King of Malaysia forbid visitation access, but you may take photos of the exterior along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly.

Next, visit the National Museum and the National Monument, located near the gorgeous Perdana Botanical Garden.

The National Mosque, also known as Masjid Negara in Malay, is located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in 1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in Kuala Lumpur and features a spectacular dome covered in green and blue tiles, along with 48 smaller domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard. To enter the National Mosque, there is a strict dress code.

Stop at the Independence Square and get to know the culture and history of Kuala Lumpur by seeing the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the City Gallery.

More photo opportunities await at the Petronas Twin Towers, an ideal spot for gazing at the city skyline and where you can capture unforgettable moments on camera. KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden close to Suria KLCC shopping center.

Upon completion of the Kuala Lumpur City Discover tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy.
