Take a private transfer to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is yours to begin exploring the city.
Explore imperial Vienna on a sightseeing city tour, that includes a guided visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. Then, enjoy a strudel show including a cup of original Viennese coffee and a piece of freshly baked apple strudel.
See the impressive Vienna State Opera House, home to the famous Opera Ball which takes place every year. Not far from the opera, you’ll get to the grand Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the imperial family. Next up is the monumental buildings of the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History. Further sights on our tour are: the neoclassical Parliament, the acclaimed Burgtheater and the striking City Hall. Head over to Schönbrunn Palace for a guided tour of Austria’s most popular attraction. The former summer imperial residence is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts millions of people from all over the world year after year. Visit the historic state rooms and see how the imperial family once lived. Stroll through the immense gardens and finish off by enjoying a cup of original Viennese coffee and a piece of freshly baked apple strudel.

Spend the day at your own pace, then in the evening, enjoy a classical music concert on us!
Renowned opera singers and a classical ballet duo will enchant you in the Rosenkavalier Hall of the baroque Auersperg Palace. The concert consists of two parts: the first focuses on the works of W.A. Mozart where you’ll enjoy the beautiful melodies from this spectacular composer from Salzburg, such as the Figaro Overture. The second part is dedicated to the Johann Strauss dynasty - swinging waltzes and polkas, as well as the world-famous Blue Danube Waltz and the traditional Radetzky March.

Today, you’ll head out to Salzburg, home of Mozart and setting for The Sound of Music.
Relax on a comfortable bus while driving to Salzburg. Enroute, you’ll get a first impression of the beauty of the Salzkammergut countryside with its majestic mountains and clear lakes. The Sound of Music fans will recognize this landscape from the opening scenes of the film. In the city, head out on a guided walk through the historical centre and see the gardens of the Mirabell Palace - where The Sound of Music was filmed and where Maria sang, together with the children, the song “Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So” on the fountain on the steps. Also, you’ll see the horse pond and the riding school where Baron von Trapp sang “Edelweiß” as a farewell. A real highlight is the Getreidegasse, the street where Mozart’s birthplace is located. Other attractions on our sightseeing tour include: University Church, St. Peter’s Abbey, the Salzburg Cathedral and the Festival Hall. You’ll have some time at leisure to explore the city, eat lunch or shop for souvenirs until the scheduled departure at 4 p.m.
