Day 1

Fly to Toronto

Fly to Toronto and pick up your rental car at the airport. Spend the rest of the day discovering Canada's largest city. Be sure to check out the CN Tower, Kensington Market and the Distillery District.

Day 2

Niagara Falls (approx. 260 km)

The falls are a short drive from Toronto and definitely worth a day trip. Try a Hornblower Niagara Cruise, a helicopter tour or a Journey Behind the Falls. Later, relax at any of the charming wineries in nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Day 3

Toronto - Ottawa (approx. 450km)

On your way to Ottawa, be sure to stop for a cruise of the Thousands Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Ottawa, don't miss the lively Byward Market or the fascinating Houses of Parliament or Canadian Museum of History.

Day 4

Ottawa - Montreal (approx. 220km)

This morning, enjoy more of Ottawa before driving to Montreal where you will spend the next two nights.

Montreal's joie de vivre is legendary as it blends cultures from around the world with a love of art, food and wine. Be sure to check out Old Montreal and any of the 90 festivals that fill the year.

Day 6

Montreal - Lac Saint-Jean (approx. 450km)

Follow the Saint Lawrence to Trois-Rivières where you turn north towards Roberval, your destination on the south-western shore of Lac Saint-Jean.

Day 7

Roberval - Chicoutimi (approx. 110km)

Leaving Lac Saint-Jean, head southeast towards the dramatic Saguenay Fjord and the charming cliffside town of Sainte-Rose-du-Nord.

Day 8

Chicoutimi - Tadoussac (approx. 140km)

Whale watching today! Tadoussac, the oldest village in Canada, is an internationally recognized whale-watching site. Enjoy a guided cruise to see whales, seals and more.

Tadoussac - Quebec City (approx. 220km)

Driver's credit card will be necessary to pick-up car rental, credit card must match reservation. First passengers on file is always booked as first driver, please advise if another passenger will be first driver.

Inclusions: 10-day Intermediate (Hyundai Elantra or similar) car rental with AVIS including: (24-hour periods) with unlimited KM, GPS, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) insurances, CAD $1 Million Third Party Liability Insurance Coverage, One (1) additional driver, Provincial and other taxes, Airport Contract Fees and air conditioning on all vehicles equipped with air conditioning
