Upon arrival in Zagreb, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel and check in. Take the rest of the day to explore Zagreb's gorgeous Austro-Hungarian monuments and architecture.

Zagreb: At leisure

Enjoy the day exploring the city as you like. Walk through the historical upper town, Gornji Grad, with its famous 13th-century cathedral. Check out the city's impressive monuments, including St. Mark's Church and the Presidential Palace. Stroll through Lenuci's Horseshoe park right in the city centre, or head out to a cocktail bar in the evening for tasty snacks and delicious Croatian wine.

Day 4

Zagreb: Plitvice Lakes National Park (approx. 276 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to the Zagreb bus station to take the bus to spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (entrance included).

Have your camera ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Day 5

Zagreb – Opatija (approx. 43 km)

After breakfast, take a private transfer to Opatija. The seaside city, often called the Pearl of the Adriatic, is located in the bay of Kvarner and has the longest tradition in tourism in Croatia — 170 years!

Day 6

Opatija: Istrian Classics Tour (approx. 394 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to the Istrian Peninsula, specifically to the romantic town of Pula, where you’ll start your Istrian Classics tour including sightseeing in Pula and Rovinj.

Istria is rightfully considered one of the most attractive Croatian destinations for lovers of culture, art and history. Pula is the largest Istrian town and the first stop on our journey. The famous Pula Arena is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world. You’ll also be equally impressed by the Temple of Augustus, the Golden Gate and other monuments from the Roman period. After this, head back towards the sea and tour the Lim Canal, one of the largest natural gems of Istria, with a short break (lunch included) before returning to Rovinj. One of the most charming towns of the Mediterranean will delight you with its narrow stone streets and squares, as well as the diverse culinary and entertainment offer.

Day 7

Opatija – Piran (approx. 83 km)

This morning, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Piran. Located on Slovenia’s Adriatic coast, Piran is known for its long pier and Venetian architecture. Tartini Square is flanked by the Gothic red Venetian House and the frescoed Tartini House. The latter is the birthplace of violinist Giuseppe Tartini. The 19th-century town hall has a stone lion, a symbol of the former Republic of Venice. St. George’s Cathedral, nearby, has remarkable 17th-century paintings and marble altars.

Day 8

Piran – Postojna - Ljubljana (approx. 122 km)

Today, take private transfer to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia with a stop in Postojna (entrance to Postojna caves included). Upon arrival in Ljubljana, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Wander around the city to see the most significant sights of the old city centre, the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robbas’s Fountain.

Home to one of the largest caves in Europe. See five-metre-tall bright white stalagmite formations and olms. Explore the cave’s fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls by miniature electric train.

Day 9

Ljubljana – Bled (approx. 55 km)

After breakfast, take a private transfer to Bled. After checking in to your hotel, head out to discover this amazing town in the foothills of the Julian Alps and along the glacial Lake Bled. On a cliff overlooking the lake is the 11th-century Bled Castle, which houses a museum, chapel and printing press. Atop a small island in the lake's centre is the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Maria, with its steep staircase and bell tower.

Bled – Zagreb (approx. 196 km)
