Fly to Casablanca.
Day 2
Welcome to Casablanca – Marrakech (approx. 250 km)
Upon your arrival at Mohamed V International Airport, your local representative will welcome you and assist you through the immigration process. You’ll then board your transfer and start your journey to explore Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. You’ll visit the awe-inspiring medinas and squares of Casablanca before heading to the famous Hassan II Mosque. You can then enjoy some free time to stroll down the scenic Ain Diab Corniche for a glimpse of the coastline. Later, you’ll visit the Habbous Quarter and historic Mehkama before heading to Marrakech to check in at your hotel.

Marrakech – Ouarzazate (approx. 205 km)
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the fascinating Ouarzazate, where Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed. You’ll then cross the Tizi-n’Tichka pass in the breathtaking Atlas Mountains before continuing on to visit the well-preserved Aït Benhaddou ksar (fortified village), a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today, you’ll start with breakfast at the hotel before checking out and heading to Zagora, a beautiful desert town in the Draa River Valley.

Zagora – Marrakech (approx. 365 km)
Begin your day with a hotel breakfast before checking out and heading towards Marrakech. Start off the day's exploration with a visit to the Menara Gardens, offering a refreshing escape from the Moroccan heat, followed by the Museum of Marrakech($), an art museum situated in the historic centre. Your next stop is the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakesh, followed by the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

Marrakech
Begin the day by exploring the charming gardens of Marrakech, indulging in an authentic Moroccan "tagine,” and navigating the labyrinthine streets of the Medina. Then proceed to the Saadian Tombs, situated close to the Kasbah Mosque and explore the architectural masterpieces of Moroccan heritage, including the Bahia Palace. Later, visit the enchanting Majorelle Gardens, a delightful oasis within the red-walled city and the Dar Si Said Museum, showcasing intricate Moroccan artisanal objects.

Marrakech – Casablanca - Cairo
Today, you’ll enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before checking out. You’ll then take your transfer to Casablanca airport and board your flight to Cairo, Egypt. Upon arrival at the Cairo International Airport, your local representative will welcome you and assist you through the immigration process. You’ll then board your transfer and head off to your hotel in Cairo.

Pyramids and Great Sphinx of Giza, Memphis and Saqqara
Start the tour by visiting the Giza pyramid complex (The Great Pyramid, Pyramid of Khafre and Pyramid of Menkaure), considered by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Great Pyradmid’s interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza. Hewn from natural yellowish limestone and standing 65 feet high and 187 feet long, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion's body.

Egyptian Museum
The present museum building was built in 1900 in the new classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The museum’s exhibited collections include 120,000 objects, ranging from the pre-historic era to the Greco-Roman period.
After the visit to the museum, a short drive through downtown will take you to Khan el-Khalili bazaar, which is one of the most famous bazaars worldwide. You can wander its narrow alleyways and discover small restaurants and cafés where locals and tourists come to smoke water pipes and enjoy some traditional drinks.

Cairo – Luxor

- Valley of the Kings: Located in the hills behind Deir el-Bahri, the 62 known tombs vary both in plan decoration. In 1979, UNESCO designated the valley part of the World Heritage Site of ancient Thebes.
- Medinat Habu Temple: The Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu is an important structure from the New Kingdom period (16th to 11th century BCE) along the west bank of Luxor.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: This mortuary temple is dedicated to Amun and Hatshepsut. It is considered one of the incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt.
- Colossi of Memnon: These are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.

Dendera and Abydos Visit
- The Temple of Seti I: Also known as the Great Temple of Abydos, this is one of the main historical sites in Abydos. The temple is also notable for its ancient Phoenician and Aramaic graffiti found on the temple walls.
- Dendera Temple: A Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of joy. It is one of the few Egyptian temples with the original roof still intact.

Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before your check out. An escorted and modern air-conditioned coach will take you to your hotel in Aswan, visiting the temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way.

Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo
- The Temple of Edfu: One of the best-preserved shrines in Egypt. The temple was built by the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BCE. The inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. The temple is nearly intact and is a very good example of an ancient Egyptian temple.
- The Temple of Kom Ombo: This temple was constructed by the Ptolemaic Kingdom, between 180–47 BCE, with some additions made during the Roman period. The building is unique because its double design meant that there were courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms that were duplicated for two sets of gods.

After breakfast, you’ll head off to visit the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple and Unfinished Obelisk.

Visit Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk and Botanical Garden
- The Aswan High Dam: Built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods from the Nile, it provides irrigation and electricity for all of Egypt today.
- Philae Temple: Now located on Agilkia Island and part of UNESCO’s Rescue of Nubian Monuments and Sites project, this temple—dedicated to the goddess Isis—is in a beautiful setting which has been landscaped to match its original site.
- Unfinished Obelisk: This is the largest known ancient obelisk in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Its creation was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BCE), possibly to complement what would later be known as the Lateran Obelisk. The obelisk's creators began to carve it directly out of bedrock, but cracks appeared in the granite and the project was abandoned. The bottom side of the obelisk is still attached to the bedrock.
- Aswan Botanical Garden: Ride a motorboat or felucca around the islands and visit the majestic Botanical Garden filled with exotic birds and trees.

After breakfast at your hotel, head out for a tour of the Monastery of St. Simeon and the Tombs of the Nobles by camel. Take a round-trip motorboat to cross the Nile to the west bank, where you will ride a camel for approximately 20 minutes to the Monastery of St. Simeon.

Visit the Monastery of St. Simeon and Tombs of the Nobles
- The Monastery of St. Simeon: This monastery was built by a monk during the 7th century and was subsequently dedicated to a local saint by the name of Anba Hedr. It is located opposite the southern tip of Elephantine Island.
- The Tombs of the Nobles: This historical site has some wonderful ancient art and noteworthy importance of the Middle and the Old Kingdoms. The wall paintings inside the Tombs of the Nobles are wonderfully alive and display the daily activities of the ancient Egyptians in a magnificent piece of art.
- Nubian village: Arrive here by motorboat and take a tour of the village to see its brightly coloured buildings, try some freshly baked shamsi bread, and have a chat with the locals.

After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you’ll connect to your flight back to Morocco. You’ll spend one last overnight at a hotel near the airport.
