Starting June 15, 2025, Melia Habana will begin refurbishments of all rooms on 7th, 8th and 9th floors (The Level categories). The refurbishments will include replacing the furniture in the rooms and terrace, replacing of the room flooring, doors, textiles, TV, safe, minibar, lighting, air conditioning, and bathroom. The services provided on those floors will also be affected, The Level service as it currently operates, will be affected by the refurbishments.
In Block B of their accommodation facilities, they will have rooms devoted to The Level Service, and its guests will have breakfast at La Bella Cubana Restaurant.
It is important to note that appropriate measures have been taken to minimize the impact on guests. The highest impact will be in the two months following the start of construction, extending through August 2025.
The improvements are expected to be complete by February 2026.
