Smoking by federal law is permitted in open areas such as the beach and the pool areas. 3 out of 4 buildings are completely non-smoking suites. The smoking area is the Uxmal tower with 137 Suites out of a total of 507. Most restaurants are non-smoking. Only the beachfront Pelicanos restaurant has an outdoor designated smoking area. Smoking is not permitted at the Lobby Bar and is permitted at the Tequileria & Cigar Club.
