Krystal Puerto Vallarta is undergoing the following renovations as part of their efforts to maintain the current customer experience:
- The new Las Velas Restaurant and Bar is finished and open.
- The family pool area along with the original Las Velas restaurant will close on February 5th, 2025. This section is no longer within the boundaries of the Krystal Vallarta and will be separated by a wall to limit any noise or visual disturbance. There will no longer be access to this area.
- The Gym and kids club area are under construction, expected to open on February 28th, 2025. During that time, a temporary exercise room will be available at the hotel; and Air Canada Vacations guests will have free access to the Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta Gym and Kids Club.
- The construction of a family pool (next to the Krystal tower) and a children's pool (tower 9, facing the sea) will start at the end of April, expected to conclude by end of July 2025. The area will be enclosed by a fence on the side of the pool, to limit any disturbance to clients.
- The other three pools are open: Infinity pool located next to Las Velas Restaurant, with waterslide for kids under 12 years old and Infinity Family facing the sea.
Construction work is taking place during the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm weekdays and 1/2 day on Saturday.
