These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) only apply to select bookings made as of 12:00 am EST on October 2, 2023, for departures as of September 30 at 23:59 pm EST, 2024. Bookings made prior to October 2, 2023, 12:00 am EST, will earn Aeroplan points for the flight portion only in accordance to the terms provided in the Terms and Conditions for accumulation.
Beginning October 2, 2023, as an Aeroplan Member in good standing in accordance with the Aeroplan program general Terms and Conditions, you can earn Aeroplan points on Select Air Canada Vacations Packages (as defined below) booked with Air Canada Vacations in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
“Select Air Canada Vacations Packages” refers to vacation packages consisting of a flight and hotel reservation of at least 7-nights stay, sold by Air Canada Vacations, booked through the vacations.aircanada.com website, the Air Canada Vacations call centre, or any travel agent and identified as earning extra points by Air Canada Vacations at time of booking a “Select Air Canada Vacations Package”.
Aeroplan Members ages 13 and up as of the departure date will receive extra points on select hotels of a Select Air Canada Vacations Package. Aeroplan Members ages 2 to 12 as of the departure date will receive extra points equivalent to 50% of the points granted to Aeroplan Members ages 13 and up. Children under the age of 2 as of the departure date are not eligible for Aeroplan points.
Aeroplan points applicable to a Select Air Canada Vacations Package will be as determined by Air Canada Vacations in its discretion.
Aeroplan Points Earn
To earn Aeroplan points, the account number of each Aeroplan Member on the booking must be included in the reservation, either pre-travel or upon check-in. Aeroplan numbers added post-travel will not receive extra Aeroplan points. All Aeroplan Members must complete all travel of the Select Air Canada Vacations Package for Aeroplan points to be awarded.
The cancellation of a component of a Select Air Canada Vacations Packages will result in ineligibility to earn Aeroplan points as per these Terms and Conditions.
Receipt of Aeroplan Points
The extra Aeroplan points, earned on a Select Air Canada Vacations Package will be awarded within 6-8 weeks after the last component of the Select Air Canada Vacations Package (flight or hotel stay) is complete.
Other Terms
Air Canada Vacations reserves the right, in its discretion, to add, remove, make adjustments to, or correct any errors in, the amount of Aeroplan points issued to an Aeroplan Member, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, including, without limitation, as a result of: (a) Aeroplan points being erroneously earned or credited to the Aeroplan Member’s account; (b) cancellation or modification of a booking; or (c) issues with payment processing. Aeroplan points earned in accordance with these Terms and Conditions are subject to the Aeroplan program general terms and conditions.
These Terms and Conditions, as well as the earning of Aeroplan points with Air Canada Vacations, may be terminated or modified at any time, at Air Canada Vacations’ discretion.
