Fun FactThis sleek and stylish city boasts a surprisingly scruffy symbol: the scrofa semilanuta, or half-woollen boar, the ancient emblem of the city. Legend claims that the Gallic founder of the city dreamt he followed this fictional, hairy sow to the valley where Milan would eventually be built.
