Fun fact

The culture of this southern Florida city was changed forever when John Ringling, head of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, made Sarasota the winter base for his circus in 1927, bringing a plethora of limber artists to its streets. Now a sprawling estate that is one of the city’s top attractions, The Ringling includes a Circus Museum where you can see the Wisconsin, the railroad car that took Ringling and his wife Mabel across the country looking for new talent.
