Air Canada Vacations

Travel advisories

In response to aviation fuel shortages and ongoing developments in Cuba, we have suspended operations to the island and cancelled bookings to Cuba until May 1, 2026. Air Canada Vacations will continue to monitor the situation to determine an appropriate restart of normal service at a future date.

The safety and peace of mind of our customers are our top priorities, and we are committed to supporting you throughout this evolving situation.

What You Need to Know

All customers travelling to Cuba who experience flight cancellations from February 9 to May 1, 2026, will automatically receive a full refund in their original form of payment; therefore, there is no need to call our Contact Centre.

In addition, any Aeroplan points and gift cards used for Cuba bookings will also be refunded automatically in the original form of payment.

We will be proceeding with reimbursements in the order of departure dates to ensure a smooth process for all affected travellers. You can expect refunds to be completed within 10 business days from your original departure date.
