Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Stockholm.

Day 2-3

Welcome to Stockholm

Upon arrival to Stockholm, take a private transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Stockholm, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, is built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges. Its beautiful buildings, greenery, fresh air, and proximity to the water are distinctive traits of this city. The Royal National City Park — the world’s first national city park — is a green space with a constant presence, and definitely worth a visit.

With its 750-year history and rich cultural life, Stockholm offers a wide selection of world-class museums and attractions. Most of the city’s sights can be reached on foot, and there is a good chance of experiencing a lot of things in a short time.

More Moments Activities Included

  • Stockholm Canal Tour

This sightseeing boat departs from Strömkajen in the centre of Stockholm and passes beautiful and famous buildings as you enter the peaceful Djurgården canal. Enjoy the view of several historical buildings, museums, and beautiful green areas. Heading home, a fabulous view of the Stockholm skyline opens from the water!

Stockholm is generally referred to as the Venice of the North, which is understandable as the city is built upon 14 islands. It is surrounded by the Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea.

Meal(s): Breakfast on day 3

Day 4-6

Stockholm – Helsinki

After you’ve spent the morning at leisure, transfer on your own to the cruise terminal for your overnight cruise to Helsinki in the afternoon.

The cruise leaves for Helsinki on the Baltic Sea while passing beautiful archipelagos.

On board, you’ll have access to a welcome bar, restaurants, tax-free shops, a casino, shows, and entertainment.

Upon arrival to Helsinki in the mid-morning, find your way to the hotel and explore the Finnish capital on your own for the next two days. Don’t forget to use your 24-hour Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing bus pass to discover the city.

More Moments Activities Included

  • 24-hour Helsinki Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus Pass

On this sightseeing tour, we recommend seeing Senaatintori, the Senate Square, and its magnificent architectural ensemble. Right around the corner by the harbour, you will find the Kauppatori Market Square, characterized by its abundance of flowers, fruits, and busy merchants. Next, see the Helsinki Cathedral, built in the 19th century and recognizable by its copper dome. Another church on your itinerary, the Temppeliaukio Kirkko, is carved into the solid rock surface, and one of the last sights you’ll see is the Uspenski Cathedral, an Eastern Orthodox cathedral with a neo-Byzantine design.

Meal(s): Breakfasts

Day 7-8

Helsinki –Tallinn

In the afternoon, find your way to the Helsinki cruise terminal and embark on a 2-hour cruise to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.

Upon arrival to Tallinn, find your way to your hotel and enjoy the historical city on your own. The Toompea Castle is an important building that stands at the western end of the Lossi plats. Dating back to the 19th century, the St. Alexander Nevski Orthodox Cathedral dominates the area as well. This imposing testimony of Russian imperialism stands in contrast to the much older surrounding buildings. Finally, don’t miss Kadriorg Palace, now a prestigious park planted with linden, oak, birch, and chestnut trees.

Day 9-10

Tallinn – Stockholm

After you’ve spent the morning at leisure, head to the cruise terminal in the afternoon for the last overnight cruise of this tour towards Stockholm.

Upon arrival in Stockholm in the mid-morning, make your way to your hotel. During your last days here, we suggest you visit Gamla Stan (the Old Town), where you will be charmed by cobblestone streets, crooked but beautifully preserved buildings, gothic churches, and excellent cafés, bars, restaurants, and Swedish design-ware shops. Visits to the VASA museum and Stockholm City Hall are also recommended.
