This itinerary has you settled into Berlin for seven nights, allowing you to discover Germany’s capital at your own pace. It also includes excursions to Dresden and Potsdam.

Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Berlin.

Day 2 to 8

Welcome to Berlin & Germany

Upon arrival in Berlin, you’ll take a private transfer to your hotel and check in for the next seven nights. You can take advantage of the  “More Moments” activities included in your package, with plenty of time to discover both the city and its surroundings at your own pace.

History & Landmarks: Berlin's history is ever-present. Iconic landmarks include the Brandenburg Gate (a symbol of German reunification), the Reichstag building, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and remnants of the Berlin Wall, which include the colourful East Side Gallery, the world's longest open-air art gallery.

Culture & Arts: The city is a major cultural hub with around 175 museums and hundreds of galleries. The Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, houses five world-class museums, including the Pergamon Museum. Berlin is also famous for its vibrant street art, diverse music scene and extensive nightlife.

Nature & Green Spaces: Berlin is one of the greenest metropolises in Germany, with around 30 percent of its area dedicated to green and forested land. Over 2,500 parks and gardens, such as the vast Tiergarten, offer recreational opportunities. The city also boasts more canals than Amsterdam and Venice combined, along with numerous lakes like the Großer Müggelsee.

Multicultural & Modern Vibe:  Berlin is a highly multicultural city. Its creative industries, startup companies and renowned universities attract a young and international crowd, contributing to its unique, lively atmosphere and diverse culinary offerings.

  • Walking tour in Berlin

    Experience Berlin’s past and present on this half-day guided walking tour through the city's Mitte district. Stroll along the iconic Berlin Wall and follow Unter den Linden to the Brandenburg Gate. Check out the rebuilt Reichstag and the Holocaust Memorial and hear the amazing stories of Cold War Berlin at Checkpoint Charlie.

  • Half-day tour to Potsdam

    Experience the perfect escape from Berlin with a captivating half-day tour to Potsdam, the charming capital of Brandenburg. Surrounded by lakes, palaces and lush gardens, this UNESCO-listed city boasts world-famous landmarks. Your expert guide will lead you through Potsdam’s most iconic sights—from the picturesque Dutch Quarter and the historic Glienicke Bridge to the Russian colony of Alexandrovka, the City Palace and the Old Market Square. The highlight of your tour is a visit to the magnificent Sanssouci Palace, the former summer retreat of Frederick the Great. This trip offers an inspiring glimpse into Prussian history and Potsdam’s exceptional cultural charm.

  • Hop-On-Hop-Off Day Pass (48 hours) in Berlin with English audio guide

    Discover the city with the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. This tour includes Berlin’s highlights and stops among others at Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. Feel free to disembark at different stops to explore the sights.

  • Private guided walking tour in Dresden

    After breakfast, you’ll make your way to the train station and board the train to the stunning Baroque city of Dresden. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local guide for a walking tour of Dresden’s highlights, including the Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera House. After the tour, you can enjoy free time exploring the historic Old Town, visiting museums or strolling along the picturesque Elbe River. You’ll travel back to Berlin by train in the afternoon.

Return to Canada

After breakfast, you’ll take a private transfer to the airport and board your flight home to Canada.
