Depart from Canada bound for Bangkok’s International Airport.
Day 3
Welcome to Hanoi
Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, you might be required to clear customs and immigration in Thailand. Once cleared, you’ll proceed to the luggage collection area, collect your belongings and check in for your connection flight to Hanoi, “The City of Lakes.”
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you’ll proceed through customs and immigration. After clearing, you’ll head to the exit where a local representative will greet you with a sign bearing your name. They will escort you to your transfer, which will take you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 4
Hanoi
After breakfast, you’ll meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and get ready for an exciting full-day city tour. Discover the highlights of the destination as you explore its history, culture and local way of life. Your guide will share fascinating insights and stories along the way, creating a memorable experience filled with unique sights and unforgettable moments.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Full-day city tour
You’ll begin your day at Ba Dinh Square with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (subject to opening hours; closed Mondays, Fridays and afternoons), followed by Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. You’ll continue to the historic One Pillar Pagoda and one of Hanoi’s notable museums, the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, Hoa Lo Prison or the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, based on your interests and availability. You’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
In the afternoon, you’ll explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university, founded in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius. You’ll end the day wandering through the atmospheric Old Quarter, Hanoi’s oldest district and former trading hub, before relaxing at a local roadside café and experiencing daily life over a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee.

Day 6
Hanoi - Hạ Long Bay (Overnight cruise)
After breakfast and check-out, you’llmeet your guide in the lobby of the hotel and embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tuan Chau Jetty, where an exciting overnight cruise on the famous Hạ Long Bay awaits!
Upon arrival at the pier, you’lltake a speedboat to your vessel and enjoy lunch while cruising through Hạ Long Bay’s iconic limestone islands. Depending on your itinerary, you’ll explore caves, grottos, pearl farms or island beaches, with some cruises offering kayaking. After sunset, you’ll enjoy a Vietnamese cooking demonstration followed by a delicious dinner. The day ends with the boat anchoring for the night among the karst formations.
Important note: Please note your vessel’s itinerary is subject to change at short notice and is dependent on weather and tidal conditions. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe, the harbour master may deny departure, and you will be re-accommodated with the best alternative ground services available.

Afterwards, enjoy breakfast as the cruise makes its way back through the bay to the pier. Upon disembarkation, continue your journey to your next destination.
A local representative will be waiting to greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign displaying your name. They will escort you to your transfer to Hanoi's international airport, Noi Bai International Airport, for your flight to Da Nang.

Hội An - Ho Chi Min City
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Da Nang International Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, you’ll collect your luggage and proceed to the arrivals hall, where a local representative holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name will greet you and escort you to your transfer. You will then be taken to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
As evening falls, prepare to experience this city through its vibrant culinary scene with a specially curated street food adventure, offering a taste of the city's unique flavours and local culture.
Following this experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Following today’s immersive experience, you’ll return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Full day Underground City and Modern Metropolis tour
Begin your day with a fascinating visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a remarkable underground network that reflects the resilience and determination of the Vietnamese people. Located about two hours from Ho Chi Minh City, this historic site features an extensive maze of tunnels once used as meeting areas, storage rooms, living quarters and strategic facilities during wartime. Upon arrival, explore the tunnels and, for those seeking a more adventurous experience, venture below ground with guidance from your tour leader.
Return to the city for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your Ho Chi Minh City tour. Visit the historic former Presidential Palace, then stroll along Book Street and admire the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and the beautifully preserved Saigon Central Post Office. Continue to the War Remnants Museum or the Fine Arts Museum, depending on your interests. Conclude your day with a return to your hotel or an optional stop at Ben Thanh Market for shopping and souvenir hunting.

Ho Chi Min City - Bangkok
After a leisurely breakfast, your local representative will take you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight to Bangkok.
Upon arrival, you’ll proceed through customs and immigration. After these formalities are completed, you’ll collect your luggage and proceed directly to the Airport Hotel Counter, located next to Gate 4 in the Arrivals Hall (2nd Floor), to arrange your complimentary airport-hotel shuttle transfer service.
If you are unable to locate the hotel counter, please proceed to the International Arrivals Hall, Exit B (near Exit Door No. 6), where a Destination Asia Airport Representative will be available to assist you.

Bangkok - Canada
After breakfast, please arrange your hotel-to-airport shuttle transfer with the front desk of your hotel. The shuttle will take you to Bangkok’s international airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), for your flight back to Canada.

Visitors must wear discreet and respectful clothing, like blouses or shirts that cover their arms and shoulders. During the visit to the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees, as this temple is still considered a sacred site (no shorts, miniskirts or short trousers). Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.
