Depart Canada

Fly overnight to Bangkok International Airport.

Day 3

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City

Upon arrival at Bangkok International Airport, you will need to collect your luggage and clear customs and immigration. Once cleared, proceed to check-in for your connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will need to clear customs and immigration again. Then, proceed to the exit doors, where a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign and take you to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy.

Day 4

Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, your shared transfer will take you to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Afterwards, a delicious lunch at a local restaurant awaits!

Enjoy a thoughtfully planned guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Upon completion, you will be transferred back to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise on a traditional wooden boat on the Saigon River.

  • Cu Chi Tunnels

    An extensive network of underground tunnels that were initially constructed in the late 1940s during the First Indochina War against French colonial forces, which later expanded during the Vietnam War. The tunnel system spans over 120 kilometers (approximately 75 miles) and includes living quarters, kitchens, storage facilities, weapon caches, and hospitals. Today, the Cu Chi Tunnels are a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a glimpse into the resilience and ingenuity of the Vietnamese fighters during the wars. Day 5

Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City boat launch, where you'll board a boat to cruise through the Mekong River towards My Tho. Along the way, you'll be able to appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and observe local life along the shores.

Upon arrival to My Tho, disembark and continue with your scheduled visits. First stop, Binh Quoi, to visit a local bee farm where handicrafts goods are also created using coconut wood. Afterwards, ride a horse-drawn cart to a fruit-orchard, where you will be able to taste seasonal fruits and enjoy traditional music by the local inhabitants.

After exploring the orchard, you'll board a traditional sampan—a small watercraft powered by oars or small motors, for a scenic return journey to My Tho. From there, you'll continue your trip back on board of a boat to Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ho Chi Minh City to catch your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a local representative with an Air Canada Vacations sign, who will escort you to your transfer that will take you to a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, an exciting city tour of Hoi An awaits. See some iconic landmarks such as the Japanese Bridge, handicraft workshops, the Tan Ky Old House, the Fujian Assembly Hall, and the 15th-century Chuc Thanh Pagoda.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel in Hoi An to check-in. Spend the rest of the day as you please.

Enjoy your free day in Hoi An at your own pace! Relax and rejuvenate in the enchanting streets, where every moment is a journey through time. Hue - Hanoi

Hanoi

After breakfast, your transfer will take you to the historic complex of Ba Dinh, where you will visit the following iconic landmarks: Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and the One Pillar Pagoda, a must-see monument in Hanoi.

Afterwards, you’ll visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda, followed by the Quan Thanh Temple. To culminate your morning adventure, you’ll also visit the Temple of Literature.

Plus, a delicious lunch awaits at a local restaurant.

Post-lunch, your afternoon journey continues with a visit to the complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, where you will visit the Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Mountain Temple), But Thap Pagoda, Dai Nghien, and the red Huc Bridge.

Hanoi - Siem Reap

After a leisurely breakfast, you will have the morning to continue enjoying the hotel’s facilities. After the check-out formalities are completed, your transfer will take you to Hanoi’s airport to catch your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia!

Upon arrival, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Once cleared, proceed to the exit doors, where a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign and escort you to your shared transfer that will take you to your hotel to check-in. Dinner will be provided at a local restaurant, with a traditional Apsara dance show. The remainder of your day is free for you to enjoy.

Day 14

Siem Reap

Dawn is one of the most beautiful and haunting times to visit temples, with ancient sandstone blocks gilded by the early morning rays. Your first stop is the most famous temple on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat, followed by a visit to the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm.

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to the hotel for breakfast.

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a visit to the Great City, Angkor Thom. The following iconic landmarks enclosed within the Great City walls include the Southern Gate, the Bayon Temple, the Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King & Phimeanakas, and the “Celestial Palace". Upon completion, a romantic sunset at Phnom Bakeng hilltop awaits!

After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic road trip to Pour Krom, where a charming rural walk awaits. During your visit to this picturesque village, you’ll get to enjoy an ox cart ride in the local countryside. Heading to Chong Khneas for an adventure on Tonlé Sap Lake—the "Great Lake" of Cambodia—you will be riding a traditional wooden boat to explore the vibrant lake life.

Next on your itinerary is a visit to Artisans Angkor, a centre for traditional art and craftsmanship. Here, you can observe local artists at work and purchase a variety of exquisite handmade crafts to support the preservation of Cambodian culture.
