Day 1

Depart Canada

Depart from Canada bound to Bangkok’s International Airport.

Day 3

Welcome to Bangkok

Upon arrival, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Then, collect your luggage and proceed the exit where a local representative holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name will greet you and escort you to your private transfer, which will take you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4

Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Bangkok

After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and set off on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Ayutthaya, Thailand’s renowned “Ancient Capital” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located 1-hour drive* from Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. Lunch is included and will be served at a local restaurant (drinks have an extra charge).

*Driving time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions.

Afterwards, your private driver will take you back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

  • Full-day Ayutthaya tour

    Embark on a scenic drive north of Bangkok to the ancient city of Ayutthaya. On your way. your first stop is Bang Pa-In, the former Royal Summer Residence of King Rama V, where you can admire the charming blend of European and Thai architecture within the palace complex.

    Continue your journey to the ancient city of Ayutthaya, where you will explore its fascinating ruins, exquisite artworks, and the expansive Ayutthaya Historical Park.

    After lunch, continue to cruise the waterways around Ayutthaya by longtail boat, taking in the incredible sights of the city. Drifting along the river you will pass local communities, traditional Thai style houses and more famous monuments

Day 5

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi

After an early breakfast and check-out, your private driver will take you on a scenic *three-hour journey to Kanchanaburi, where an exciting full-day Kanchanaburi adventure awaits. Lunch is included and will be served at a local restaurant (drinks have an extra charge).

*Driving time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions

After the tour is completed, your private driver will take you to Phutakien Pier to board a longtail boat (shared transfer) to your floating resort to relax and stay overnight. Dinner will be served at the floating restaurant (drinks have an extra charge).

  • Full-day Kanchanaburi adventure

    Your first stop is the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum dedicated to preserving the history of this iconic railway.

    Next, you will continue to the Allied War Cemetery, where you can pay your respects to the 6,982 Allied prisoners of war who lost their lives during the railway's construction.

    Next, you visit to the world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of the Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs in World War I.

    The final stop is the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre*, where a small gallery presents the history of the Burma-Thailand railway, detailing its construction and the hardships faced by workers. You can descend the stairs behind the museum to the Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail, which follows the original rail bed

    *Hellfire pass memorial is closed on public holidays. During these times, visitors will instead visit the Home Phutoey Museum Park.

Day 6

Kanchanaburi – Sai Yoke – Kanchanaburi

After breakfast, embark on an exciting longtail boat ride upstream to Sai Yok National Park (shared transfer) where your journey will take you to the Mon Tribal Village, followed by a nature walk leading you to a serene setting where a vibrant waterfall awaits. Take some time here to relax, soak in the scenery, and capture beautiful photos.

After the waterfall visit, a delicious lunch awaits at a local restaurant (drinks available for an extra charge).

After lunch, explore the fascinating Lawa Cave. For those who may feel uneasy in confined spaces, it’s worth reconsidering this part of the tour.

Once the tour concludes, you'll return by longtail boat (shared transfer) to your floating resort to unwind and enjoy an overnight stay. Dinner will be served at the floating restaurant, with drinks available at an additional charge.

  • Full-day nature adventure in Sai Yoke National Park

    Picturesque destination with walking trails through lush bamboo, evergreen, and deciduous forests.

    The Mon Tribal Village, home to the Mon people for generations, maintains a traditional, simple lifestyle with minimal electricity sourced from solar power. The village has adapted to tourism, selling traditional skirts and food. As you stroll through, you'll see the Golden Rock, a Buddha image cave, the village school, and traditional stilt houses.

    The Lawa Cave is known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, unique rock formations, and winding passages that create an adventurous exploration experience.

Day 7

Kanchanaburi – Hua Hin

After breakfast and checkout, your journey continues downstream on board a comfortable longtail boat (shared transfer) to the mainland pier. Upon disembarking, your adventure continues by land on board or your private transfer to Kanchanaburi. On your way, stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, a once-in-a-life-time experience awaits! A comfortable train ride (shared transfer), along the famous Death Railway will take you through spectacular landscapes, where you will be able to see modern marvels through your window!

Upon arrival to the train station, you will be greeted by your private driver, who will then take you to your hotel in Hua Hin to check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Hua Hin

Welcome to Hua Hin, where relaxation meets charm! Whether you choose to stroll along the sun-kissed beaches, explore the vibrant local markets, or simply indulge in a rejuvenating spa experience, Hua Hin offers the perfect blend of tranquility and discovery. It's your day to enjoy at your own pace – slow down, breathe in the fresh sea breeze, and let Hua Hin’s serene beauty set the tone for your adventure ahead!

Hua Hin

As your second-to-last day in paradise unfolds, take the opportunity to savour every moment in this tranquil coastal retreat. Whether you're in the mood to explore more of the local culture with a visit to the Cicada Night Market or simply relax with a beachfront massage, the day is yours to craft. For something special, consider a boat trip to explore nearby islands or a sunset stroll along the picturesque pier.

Day 10

Hua Hin

On your last full day in this tropical haven, it’s time to make the most of this idyllic paradise. Take in the sunrise during a peaceful morning walk along the beach, or perhaps start the day with a traditional Thai cooking class to bring a piece of Hua Hin home with you. For adventure seekers, a visit to the nearby Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park offers stunning landscapes and hidden caves. As the day winds down, savour a final seaside dinner, reflecting on the beauty and relaxation that Hua Hin has shared with you.

Day 11

Hua Hin – Bangkok

After breakfast, your private driver will take your hotel to the “City of Angels”, Bangkok! You will meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel, to continue with this afternoon’s adventure, a half-day city tour to visit three of Bangkok’s most famous temples, plus the iconic Grand Palace. 

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel to check-in. Rest of the evening at leisure

Important note:

  • The dress code for the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew is as follows: Men are required to
  • wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops). If sandals or flip-flops are worn,
  • socks must also be worn (no bare feet). Women must also dress modestly, with skirts fully
  • covering the legs and no see-through clothing or bare shoulders.

  • Half-day city tour

    First stop, the Wat Trimit, which houses a 700-year-old, three-metre-tall Buddhist statue, cast from 5.5 tons of gold which makes it the world's largest solid gold statue.

    Next, visit Wat Pho, it features one of the largest reclining Buddhas in Thailand and is also known as the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

    Followed by The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, situated in the Grand Palace complex, otherwise known as Wat Phra Kaew is regarded as the most sacred temple in the kingdom.

    The tour ends with a visit to the former residence of the King, the Grand Palace, adjoins the temple and is well worth a visit. A fascinating combination of Thai and classical European architecture.

Bangkok - Canada

After breakfast, your private driver will take you to Bangkok International airport for your flight back to Canada.
