Day 1
Depart Canada
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll collect your luggage and make your own way to your hotel using local public transportation. Guests may use their hotel booking confirmation as proof of their reservation when travelling from the airport to Basel city centre. Upon check-in, the BaselCard will be provided by the hotel, offering access to local transportation and other benefits during your stay.
Day 2
Welcome to Basel
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll collect your luggage and make your own way to your hotel using local public transportation. Day 3
Basel - Lucerne
Travel by rail to Lucerne and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this wonderful lakeside city.

Lucerne - Gotthard Panorama Express - Lugano
Enjoy a cruise across Lake Lucerne before travelling on the Gotthard Panorama Express along the historic Gotthard Route from Switzerland’s traditional heart to its Mediterranean south.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore this paradise in Ticino at your own pace.

Day 6
Lugano - Basel
After breakfast, you’ll take the train back to Basel for the final night of your journey. From Basel, you can easily explore Switzerland, France and Germany, all just a short journey away.
Head to the Dreiländereck (Border Triangle) monument, where the borders of Switzerland, France and Germany meet along the Rhine River. From there, walk or take a short tram ride to the Three Countries Bridge (Dreiländerbrücke), allowing you to easily visit France and Germany. Additional transportation fees may apply.

Basel - Return to Canada
After breakfast, make your own way to the airport by train for your return flight home.
