Day 1
Depart Canada
Fly to Basel.
Day 2
Welcome to Basel
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll collect your luggage and make your own way to your hotel using local public transportation. Guests may use their hotel booking confirmation as proof of their reservation when travelling from the airport to Basel city centre. Upon check-in, the Basel Card will be provided by the hotel, offering access to local transportation and other benefits during your stay.

Day 3
Basel - Grindelwald
Travel by rail to Grindelwald, at the heart of the Bernese Oberland.

Day 4
Grindelwald - Ballenberg
Enjoy a day trip by rialto Brienz to experience Ballenberg, an extensive exhibition with over 100 residential and agricultural buildings from all over Switzerland illustrating rural Swiss life from the past.

Day 5
Grindelwald - Schynige Platte
Travel by rail to Wilderswil and then by historical cogwheel train to the Schynige Platte, home of the stunning Alpine Garden. You can also experience flag waving and Alphorn playing on multiple occasions throughout the day.

Day 6
Grindelwald - Basel
After breakfast, you’ll take the train back to Basel for the final night of your journey. From Basel, you can easily explore Switzerland, France and Germany, all just a short journey away.
Head to the Dreiländereck (Border Triangle) monument, where the borders of Switzerland, France and Germany meet along the Rhine River. From there, walk or take a short tram ride to the Three Countries Bridge (Dreiländerbrücke), allowing you to easily visit France and Germany. Additional transportation fees may apply.

Basel - Return to Canada
After breakfast, make your own way to the airport with your Basel Guest Card for your return flight home.
