The Belize Jungle & Beach Adventure starts in Belize City, then whisks you off to the Bocawina Rainforest Resort, a unique resort located in the Southern Maya Mountains adjacent to the world-famous 100,000-acre Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Waterfalls cascading into crystal clear jungle pools, resplendent tropical birds and wild cats roaming a 7000-acre National Park are part of the extraordinary setting for your rainforest adventure. Nowhere else in Belize can you enjoy the comforts of a boutique lodge, Belizean-style dining and a limitless selection of adventures within a National Park.
Your adventure continues in the Placencia Peninsula, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and blue ocean. Experience the best of the island and mainland life as you relax along golden shores. The beachside is an oasis of relaxation, hosting both Fyah Bar & Grill and a vast swimming pool for hours of lazing in the cool blue water. Bike down to the village and get swept up in the vitality of a place brimming with activity.

Itinerary
Day 1
Montreal to Belize City
Arrive at the Belize City Airport, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel for your overnight accommodation.
Get a restful night's sleep to prepare for tomorrow’s adventures.
Hotel: Biltmore Plaza or Golden Bay
Day 2
Bocawina Rainforest Resort
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and take your time to decompress before you check out of the hotel to meet your driver in the lobby to start your adventure.
You will board a short flight to Dangriga. Enjoy a beautiful scenic flight over the lush rainforest and a glimpse of the Belize Barrier Reef from above.
Upon arrival in Dangriga, you will be transferred to check into your resort in the Southern Maya Mountains. Enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival, meet your fellow guests and choose your guided activities for the next four days.
The remainder of your day is at your leisure to explore the resort and rainforest trails within the National Park.

Days 3-4
Bocawina Rainforest Resort
Rise with the sun and be on the grounds for the first light of day emerging through the jungle mist. Waking up to the sounds of the tropics is a pure delight, with the chatter of parrots and parakeets flying overhead, the fresh morning air scented with tropical blossoms and the expectation of an exciting adventure-filled day ahead.
There is no need to venture far to experience the heart of the jungle. Bocawina offers the longest zipline adventure in Belize, seven different waterfalls, unexcavated Maya ruins and a multitude of bird species and wildlife.
You will be able to take part in all available onsite adventures such as ziplining, waterfall rappelling, guided hiking or birdwatching.

Day 5
Bocawina Rainforest to Placencia
Our last morning at Bocawina is completely flexible. Enjoy a tranquil breakfast and stay close to the lodge or follow a trail to a favourite pool or waterfall.
After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Placencia, a stunning beach destination! Upon arrival, you can settle into your room before heading out to explore. The Peninsula is positioned between the Placencia Lagoon on the west and the Caribbean Sea on the east. You may want to stroll north from Placencia Village to Seine Bight Village without interruption.
You can spend the rest of the day enjoying the villages of Placencia at your own pace.

Days 6-8
Placencia
Spend the next few days discovering the Placencia Peninsula or venture to Placencia Village and its myriad of shops, restaurants and bars, then head over to Seine Bight Village for some traditional Garifuna music.

Day 9
Placencia – Belize City
Enjoy a return transfer to Belize City Airport for your flight back to Canada.
