This itinerary starts with an overnight in Belize City, then whisks you off to the Bocawina Rainforest Resort, a unique resort located in the Southern Maya Mountains adjacent to the world-famous 100,000-acre Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. Waterfalls cascading into crystal clear jungle pools, resplendent tropical birds and wild cats roaming a 7000-acre National Park are part of the extraordinary setting for your rainforest adventure. Nowhere else in Belize can you enjoy the comforts of a boutique lodge, Belizean-style dining and a limitless selection of adventures within a National Park.
You can then relax on the beach in Hopkins. The resort is set against a stunning beachfront in Hopkins Village, where you can spend your time exploring the charm of Hopkins or venture out to sea.

Itinerary
Day 1
Montreal to Belize City
Arrive at the Belize City Airport, where you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 2
Bocawina Rainforest Resort
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before you check out and meet your driver in the lobby to start your adventure.
You will board a short flight to Dangriga. Enjoy the beautiful scenic flight over the lush rainforest and a glimpse of the Belize Barrier Reef from above.
Upon arrival in Dangriga, you will be transferred to check into your resort in the Southern Maya Mountains. Enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival, meet your fellow guests and choose your guided activities for the next four days.
Enjoy the remainder of your day at your leisure, exploring the resort and rainforest trails within the National Park.

Days 3-4
Bocawina Rainforest Resort
Rise with the sun and be on the grounds for the first light of day emerging through the jungle mist. Waking up to the sounds of the tropics is a pure delight, with the chatter of parrots and parakeets flying overhead, the fresh morning air scented with tropical blossoms and the expectation of an exciting adventure-filled day ahead.
There is no need to venture far to experience the heart of the jungle. Bocawina offers the longest zipline adventure in Belize, seven different waterfalls, unexcavated Maya ruins and a multitude of bird species and wildlife.
You will be able to take part in all available onsite adventures such as ziplining, waterfall rappelling, guided hiking or birdwatching.

Day 5
Bocawina Rainforest to Hopkins
Our last morning at Bocawina is completely flexible. Enjoy a tranquil breakfast and leisurely lunch before you are transferred to Hopkins Beach by your driver.
Once you arrive and are checked into the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day enjoying the villages of Hopkins.

Days 6-8
Hopkins
Spend the next three days relaxing by the pool, strolling along the beach and discovering Hopkins Village and the surrounding area.
Watch the local fisherman paddle out at sunrise in dug-out canoes to catch their fish for the day. Take a kayak out to see the sunset over Victoria's Peak and view the rest of the mystic Maya Mountains as another day in paradise comes to a close.
Enjoy an evening of local Garifuna drumming and sample some Belizean cuisine. Mingle with the friendly villagers and experience Hopkins' rich Garifuna culture.

Day 9
Hopkins - Belize City
Today you will be transferred back to Belize City Airport for your return flight to Canada.
