Fly to Copenhagen.
Day 2 - 4
Welcome to Copenhagen and Denmark
Upon arrival, you’ll take a private transfer to your hotel, where you’ll spend the next 3 nights.
The city is famous for “hygge” Christmas vibes—candles, cozy cafés and lights everywhere.

Classic Copenhagen Canal Tour
In the next couple of days, you can enjoy 3 festive experiences included in your stay. A classic canal tour around Copenhagen’s harbour and the idyllic canals is included in your program. A guide will tell you about the beautiful churches, castles, historical houses, new buildings and all other sights of interest. The tour departs from Nyhavn or Gammel Strand and passes some of Copenhagen's best sights and attractions in all their Christmas glory.

Entrance to Tivoli Gardens (excluding rides)
Tivoli is covered with thousands of twinkling lights, decorated Christmas trees and sparkling ornaments. Pathways are illuminated with garlands and lanterns, and the lake reflects the colourful lights from the rides and surrounding buildings. Large Christmas trees decorated in red, gold and silver stand throughout the gardens, while artificial snow, festive stalls and decorations create the feeling of a traditional Nordic Christmas village.

Danish Christmas Experience with treats in the Hotel d'Angleterre
You will experience one of the most beloved Danish traditions of enjoying gløgg and æbleskiver in the elegant winter setting of the prestigious Hotel D’Angleterre. This experience combines Danish festive food with the cozy atmosphere known as hygge—a feeling of warmth, comfort and togetherness typical of Scandinavian winter celebrations. Every year from mid-November to the end of December, the historic hotel transforms into a festive landmark in central Copenhagen. Its façade overlooking Kongens Nytorv is illuminated with elaborate Christmas decorations, turning the square into a magical winter scene and attracting both locals and visitors, hosting one of the largest Christmas markets in the city.

Copenhagen to Stockholm
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then make your own way to the train station and board your train to Stockholm. Upon arrival, you’ll make your own way to your hotel, where you’ll spend 3 nights.
Stockholm is especially fairytale-like this time of year, particularly its Old Town.

Classic Stockholm Canal Tour
A signature canal tour from Strömkajen in the center of Stockholm is included with your program. You’ll leave the inner city behind and pass beautiful and famous buildings as you enter the peaceful Djurgården canal. Along the canal, you will enjoy the view of several historical buildings, museums and beautiful nature areas in all their winter splendour. Heading back, a fabulous view of the Stockholm holiday skyline opens–only to be seen from the water!

Skansen Open-Air Museum in Stockholm becomes a magical winter destination during Christmas, offering a charming blend of Swedish traditions, festive atmosphere and historical experiences. Established in 1891, Skansen is the world’s first open-air museum, and it takes on a special kind of enchantment during the Christmas season. Skansen’s open-air museum features over 150 historical buildings, many of which are decorated for Christmas, creating an immersive journey back in time to how Swedes celebrated the holiday centuries ago. Each area showcases the Christmas traditions of various regions of Sweden.

Stockholm walking tour of Old Town and Christmas Market
You’ll take part in a Christmas Walking Tour with an English-speaking local guide. The duration of this tour is 2 hours, giving you ample time to experience the Old Town's Christmas Market and more. Enjoy an immersive glimpse into how Christmas is celebrated in Sweden, including the food, traditions, celebrations and winter activities that make it so special. Highlights include learning all about the origins of Dalarna's toy horse, Jultomten (Swedish Santa gnome) and St. Lucia ceremony, all while savouring Swedish pastries and mulled wine.

Return to Copenhagen
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before making your own way to the train station to board your train back to Copenhagen. Upon arrival, you’ll make your own way to your hotel, where you’ll spend your last day and night in Copenhagen. Spend some time doing some last-minute Christmas shopping!

Return Home
