This fully Guided English tour will lead you through the key Nordic cities of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Stavanger, Bergen, Oslo, Karlstad and Stockholm to explore one-of-a-kind fjords, waterfalls, mountains and lakes. A tour guide will accompany you along the entire route, all the way from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Don’t worry about having any vouchers for the hotels or trains, these will be taken care of, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

Fly to Copenhagen.
Day 2
Welcome to Copenhagen and Denmark
Upon your arrival in Copenhagen, you’ll make your own way to your hotel and enjoy some leisure time to explore. In the afternoon or evening, you’ll meet your tour guide in the hotel reception area.

Day 3
Copenhagen – Aarhus
Today, you’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off with a local guide on a panoramic tour of the capital of Denmark. This 1,000-year-old city offers historical charm and modern amenities. During the tour, you´ll have the chance to appreciate its compelling architecture in the famous district of Nyhavn, where you’ll pass by Amalienborg Palace, home of the Royal family of Denmark, through to the island of power, where sights such as Christianborg Palace, where the Danish parliament sits, the old stock exchange and the National Museum are located. You will end the tour with a glimpse of one of Copenhagen’s most iconic landmarks, The Little Mermaid statue.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to Aarhus, taking the ferry from Odden.

Day 4
Aarhus – Fjord Line
In the morning, you’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a historical tour with a local guide through Aarhus. This is the second most populous city in Denmark and was named the European Capital of Culture in 2017. Its strategic location made it an important Viking city, and later a flourishing commercial centre. Stop at the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral and enjoy some free time discovering the city on your own.
In the afternoon, you will continue to the North of Denmark to reach Hirtshals, where you’ll board an overnight cruise to Norway.

Day 5
Stavanger – Pulpit Rock
After your arrival in Stavanger, you’ll enjoy breakfast at your hotel or at a restaurant. In the morning, you’ll take part in a panoramic walking tour to discover the charming old town of Stavanger. The rest of the day is at leisure. We recommend doing one of the two optional activities*:

Option A ($) Cruise on the Lysefjord
This 3-hour cruise on the Lysefjord will get us close enough to one of the fjord's waterfalls to feel the mist and to witness the imposing presence of the Pulpit Rock towering above all the other stunning scenery.

Option B ($) Lysefjord Cruise + Preikestolen (Pulpit) Climb
From the fjord to the mountaintop. This fjord cruise from Stavanger to Lysefjord is combined with a spectacular hike to the world-famous Preikestolen. See the panoramic view from the plateau!

Day 6
Stavanger – Bergen
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before continuing to Bergen by taking a ferry from Mortavika to Årsvågen and from Sandvikvåg to Halhjem. Once you arrive in Bergen, you’ll have some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Bergen with a local guide to see the most emblematic places in the city, including the famous fish market and the Hanseatic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon, you will have a chance to take a ride with the Fløibanen funicular to the top of the mountain Fløyen. From there, you can admire the magnificent views of the city and its surrounding landscapes.

Day 7
Bergen – Flåm – Balestrand
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll head to Voss to begin your spectacular train trip ascending almost 900 metres, with incredible views of the fjord. This train journey will commence from Voss and take you to Myrdal station, which is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 kilometres from the village of Flåm. In Myrdal, you’ll board the famous Flåm Railway Flåmsbana, one of the steepest train lines in the world. This train journey runs past the Rallar road, through steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls and no less than 20 tunnels.
Upon your arrival in Flåm, you can enjoy some leisure time exploring the scenic village between the fjords.
Your journey then continues by cruise on the Sognefjord to your accommodation in Balestrand, a rural area surrounded by nature.
Sognefjord is known as the “King of Norway” and is the longest fjord in Norway. The initial part of the fjord, called Aurlandsfjord, is a 17-kilometre arm of the world’s second-longest fjord, the Sognefjord (204 km). It is one of the most picturesque fjords in the world.

Day 8
BALESTRAND - BORGUND CHURCH - OSLO
Today, you’ll enjoy breakfast in your hotel, then continue your route by ferry through mountains, valleys and incredible landscapes peppered with charming villages. You will make a stop to visit the Borgund Church, a wooden church dating back to 1,180 AD. In the afternoon, you will continue to Lake Tyrifjord and arrive in Oslo.

Day 9
OSLO - VIGELAND PARK – KARLSTAD
Start the day off with breakfast in your hotel, then set off on a guided tour of Oslo, including Frogner Park with the Vigeland sculpture complex, passing the City Hall, the Royal Palace and the modern Opera. Enjoy some free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll depart for Sweden by bus. You’ll soon arrive in Karlstad, located in the delta formed by two of Sweden's great natural waterways: the Klara River and the impressive Lake Vänern.

Day 10
KARLSTAD - STOCKHOLM
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before setting off to reach Stockholm, the Swedish capital, built on 14 islands and surrounded by Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. It boasts grand public buildings, palaces, rich cultural history and museums that tell its beautiful 700-year history.
Upon arrival in Stockholm, you will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide, visiting the old town or "Gamla Stan" with its network of small squares and cobbled streets. You’ll also see the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the Cathedral and the Parliament.
