Day 1
Depart Canada
Board your flight to Catania, Sicily.
Day 2
Welcome to Catania
Upon your arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Catania and settle in. Take some time to explore this World Heritage city, shaped by a rich Baroque legacy.
Day 3
Catania : Visit
After breakfast, you’ll begin your guided food tour of Catania.

Food Tour of Catania
Enjoy a walking tour through the alleys and squares of Catania’s historic centre, combining culture and flavour. Along the way, sample local specialties such as fried fish, the famous arancino, traditional sweets and refreshing seltzer (soda water). At the end of the tour, you’ll receive a souvenir card highlighting each stop and the delicious street foods you’ve tasted.

Day 4
Catania- Syracuse - Noto - Ragusa
After breakfast, you’ll depart for your journey to Syracuse and Noto, before heading to Ragusa for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you’ll visit Syracuse’s Archaeological Park of Neapolis, including the Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, Latomie of Paradise and the Ear of Dionysius. You’ll continue to Ortigia Island to admire Piazza Duomo, the Baroque Cathedral and the Fountain of Arethusa. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the Baroque beauty of Noto.

Day 5
Ragusa -Agrigento: Visit
After breakfast, you’ll journey to Ibla, Modica and Piazza Armerina before transferring to Agrigento for dinner and an overnight.

Today, you’ll visit Ragusa Ibla, renowned for its Baroque churches, palaces and the scenic Giardino Ibleo. You’ll then continue to Modica to taste award-winning artisanal chocolate at the famous Sabadì shop. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the stunning mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina.

Day 6
Agrigento - Palermo: Visit
Today, you’ll visit Agrigento’s UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples, featuring the Temples of Juno, Concord and Hercules. Afterwards, you’ll head out to visit Marsala and end your day in Palermo.

Palermo- Monreale Visit
After breakfast, you’ll head out to visit Monreale and Palermo, where history, art and culture come together in perfect harmony.

Today, you’ll visit Monreale’s magnificent Cathedral and Cloister, masterpieces of Arab-Norman art. You’ll then continue to Palermo to discover its rich architectural heritage, including the Cathedral, Martorana Church and the Palatine Chapel. You’ll savour a light lunch featuring local specialties such as brioche and granita, then enjoy a leisurely stroll through the city centre to admire Teatro Massimo and Pretoria Square.

Day 8
Palermo - Cefalù – Catania: Visit
After breakfast, you’ll head out to explore the scenic seaside village of Cefalù.

Your first stop will be Cefalù, known for its impressive Norman Cathedral and charming old town. Enjoy free time to explore or visit the Mandralisca Museum, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll then continue to Catania for a walking tour of its Baroque centre, including Duomo Square, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata, the Elephant Fountain and Via dei Crociferi.

Day 9
Catania: Visit
After breakfast, you’ll visit Catania’s lively fish market before heading to Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano.

Catania at Leisure
