You’ll complete your adventure with a ferry crossing to Naples, exploring Pompeii, Capri and the breathtaking Amalfi Coast before returning home.

Day 1
Depart Canada
Board your flight to Catania, Sicily.
Day 2
Welcome to Catania
Once you arrive at Catania Airport, you’ll take your transfer to your hotel located in the charming seaside village of Aci Trezza.
Day 3
Catania – Street Food Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll transfer to Catania for a guided walking tour offering a historical overview of the city’s charming streets and squares. During the walk, you can enjoy tastings of Catania’s culinary specialties, including fried fish, the famous arancino, delicious local pastries and refreshing seltz (salted lemon seltzer). At the end of the tour, you’ll receive a keepsake map highlighting the tour stops and the specialties you sampled. You’ll then return to the hotel for free time and an overnight stay lulled by the sounds of the sea.

Day 4
Catania – Etna – Taormina
Today, you’ll depart for Rifugio Sapienza with stops at scenic viewpoints. Your guide will explain the history of Mount Etna, its recent eruptions and the Silvestri Craters. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a lava cave equipped with a helmet and lamp. On the way down, you’ll stop at an organic farm for a taste of honey, wines, olive oils and other local products. You’ll then continue to Taormina, with a brief panoramic stop at “Isola Bella,” a nature reserve known as the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea.”
In the afternoon, you can enjoy some free time exploring Taormina. Stroll along Corso Umberto, between Porta Messina and Porta Catania, and discover its main landmarks: Palazzo Corvaja, the Ancient Theatre, Piazza IX Aprile, the Clock Tower, the Cathedral, Badia Vecchia and Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano. You’ll also have time to browse boutiques and artisan workshops.

Day 5
Catania – Noto and Syracuse
Today, you’ll meet your tour guide after breakfast and depart for Noto, the capital of Sicilian Baroque. Enjoy a stroll through its elegant streets and visit the cathedral, palaces and sculpted balconies, symbols of the city’s rebirth after the 1693 earthquake.
In the afternoon, you’ll head to Syracuse, an ancient city rich in history. Visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, including the Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre and the fascinating Ear of Dionysius. You’ll then continue to Ortygia Island, with its flower-filled alleys, Baroque cathedral and the Fountain of Arethusa. Enjoy lunch in a charming local trattoria.

Day 6
Catania- Piazza Armerina - Agrigento
Today, you’ll depart for Piazza Armerina through the rolling hills of inland Sicily. Visit the UNESCO-listed Villa Romana del Casale, an ancient Roman residence renowned for its exceptional mosaics depicting hunting scenes, myths and graceful female figures.
You can enjoy lunch at an agriturismo in the countryside, then continue to Agrigento to explore the legendary Valley of the Temples—Concordia, Juno and Hercules—majestic monuments surrounded by olive trees and golden light.

Day 7
Agrigento – Marsala and the Salt pans - Palermo
After breakfast, you’ll depart for the west coast to discover the Marsala Salt Pans of the Stagnone Lagoon. You can enjoy a guided visit through this spectacular landscape of sky, sea and windmills. You’ll also visit the Salt Museum and learn about the traditional salt-harvesting process. In the afternoon, you’ll stroll through the refined historic centre of Marsala, known for its elegant Baroque architecture and famous wine.

Day 8
Palermo - Monreale
Today, you’ll enjoy a morning visit to Monreale, overlooking Palermo. You’ll explore its Norman Cathedral, a Byzantine masterpiece adorned with golden mosaics and the cloister with sculpted columns. You’ll then return to Palermo to visit the Norman Palace and its Palatine Chapel, a jewel of Byzantine art, followed by Palermo Cathedral, blending Arab, Norman and Baroque influences.
In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a Palermo tour by Ape Calessino (a retro-style motorized rickshaw) with glimpses of the Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria and Ballarò Market.

Day 9
Palermo - Naples
After breakfast at the hotel, you can savour some free time exploring the city at your own pace. In the evening, you’ll transfer to the port to board the ferry for your crossing to Naples, where another corner of Italian paradise awaits. Spend an overnight on board.

Day 10
Naples – Pompeii – Naples
Today, you’ll disembark in Naples and transfer to your hotel to check in. You’ll then visit the ancient city of Pompeii with an archaeological guide to explore its remarkably preserved streets, villas, frescoes and public buildings, including highlights like the baths and the House of the Faun. The tour includes short photo stops and ends back at the hotel.

Day 11
Naples – Capri
Today, you’ll board a ferry to Capri and marvel at the breathtaking views of Italy’s most famous coastline. You’ll tour the island by minibus with a stop in the town of Anacapri. You can also enjoy a boat ride around the island for spectacular views of the iconic sea or browse some of Capri's charming boutiques.

Day 12
Naples – Amalfi Coast
Today, you’ll enjoy an excursion along the stunning Amalfi Coast, following the winding road that stretches like a balcony between the cobalt-blue sea and the slopes of the Lattari Mountains. The best way to experience the coast in a single day is on a guided tour with expert drivers. Along the way, you’ll have photo stops in Positano and Amalfi. In Amalfi, explore the charming centre with its magnificent cathedral, elegant shops and inviting seaside restaurants.

Naples– Return to Canada
After breakfast, you’ll take your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
