Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Dublin.

Day 2

Welcome to Dublin and Ireland

Welcome to Dublin! Collect your car at Dublin airport and make your way to your hotel. After checking in to your hotel, enjoy a private 4-hour walking tour of Dublin. Your guide will escort you into one of Dublin’s most famous attractions, St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Stay overnight in Dublin.

Day 3

Dublin – Galway – Mayo

After breakfast, depart Dublin today for County Galway/County Mayo. Upon arrival, enjoy a private hawk walk with a resident falconer and share in the excitement of the pastime that has captivated people for over 4,000 years.

Day 4

Connemara National Park

Today, we recommend touring Connemara National Park, 4,900 acres of rugged quartzite and schist terrain in North Galway. Connemara is full of small villages where Gaelic is still the spoken language. No visit to Connemara would be complete without a stop at Kylemore Abbey.

Day 5

Clare

After breakfast, it’s on to County Clare. Today, travel through the strange lunar landscape of the Burren region or visit the famous Cliffs of Moher, breathtaking 14-kilometre sea cliffs that rise to a maximum height of 702 feet above sea level. Stop and wander around some of the charm-filled small towns and villages that Ireland is famous for.

Day 6

Kerry

Today, travel south and pass through the medieval town of Limerick. Pause in the pretty village of Adare, whose heritage centre allows you to experience the area’s unique history spanning from 1233. Continue to the “Kingdom of Kerry.”

Day 7

Ring of Kerry

Explore the dramatic landscape of the Ring of Kerry, taking in the spectacular mountains, peat bogs, lakes and views of the Atlantic Ocean. Pass through the quaint villages of Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville and Sneem. Return to Killarney via the Moll’s Gap mountain pass and Ladies View scenic viewpoint with a superb vantage point of the famous Lakes of Killarney.

Day 8

Kerry - The Midlands

Leave Kerry today and make your way to your final night’s accommodation in Ireland’s Midlands. Consider stopping in Cork, Ireland’s second-largest city, or perhaps visit the world-renowned Blarney Castle and nearby Blarney Woollen Mills.

Return Home

After checking out of your hotel, drive to Dublin Airport and drop off your car.

As most flights depart early, ensure to drop off your car early or the night before to avoid any delays.
