Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Dublin.

Day 2

Arrival in Dublin

Arrive at Dublin Airport and make your own way to your hotel in the city centre. Spend the day exploring your surroundings at leisure.

Day 3

Dublin – County Kerry – Blarney Castle

Meet with your English-speaking driver and tour guide and depart Ireland’s capital for County Kerry. On route, stop in the town of Blarney to visit Blarney Castle and feel free to shop at the Blarney Woollen Mills souvenir shop. Stay overnight in County Kerry.

    Take a tour of the castle and see the legendary Blarney Stone. Kiss it to be blessed with the gift of the gab.

Day 4

Ring of Kerry

Embark on a tour of the Iveragh Peninsula, where you’ll find the Ring of Kerry. Take in the spectacular scenery of mountains and lakes, then leave for Killorglin and Glenbeigh for views of the Dingle Peninsula and Bay. End the tour in Sneem, where you’ll be charmed by its brightly coloured houses before returning to Killarney.

  • Kerry Sheepdog Demonstration

    Along the Ring of Kerry stop at a local farm for a sheepdog demonstration. Your visit starts with an overview of the different breeds of sheep, followed by an introduction to the farmer’s most important tools, his border collies. Next you will see a superb demonstration of sheep herding as the farmer demonstrates how to bring a flock of sheep from the mountain top.

  • Jaunting Car Ride, Killarney National Park

    When option 2 is selected:

    Take in the sights of some of Killarney’s most popular scenic spots like the iconic high spire of St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Deenagh Lodge as your private carriage takes you through the magnificent landscape of the Killarney National Park.

Day 5

The Burren & Cliffs of Moher

Travel northwards to Tarbert and take a short boat ride across the mouth of the River Shannon to land on County Clare’s shore at Killimer. Enjoy a tour of The Burren region, a plateau of porous limestone, then visit Bunratty Castle for an optional meal fit for royalty.

  • Cliffs of Moher Tour

    Travel along the coast to the Cliffs of Moher, the most majestic cliffs in Ireland which rise from the Atlantic Ocean and extend for over 7 km. On a clear day, you can admire the Aran Islands and Connemara Mountains.

  • Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle

    When option 2 is selected:

    Experience a truly unique entertainment and dining experience in the iconic setting of the world famous Bunratty Castle. The lifestyle of medieval Ireland is recaptured at the Castles great hall. Delight in a four-course meal in this historic castle and be entertained by the world famous Bunratty Castle singers.

Day 6

Galway

This morning travel to the city of Galway and familiarize yourself with this beautiful place which has attracted many musicians and artists. Visit Galway Cathedral, one of the largest and most impressive buildings in Galway built between 1958 and 1965.

    Enjoy a cruise along Lough Corrib with scones and Irish coffee aboard the Corrib Princess. Visitors will get to see views of historic monuments and natural amenities that make this one of the most spectacular waterways in Ireland.

Day 7

Galway: Excursion to Connemara

Travel through the beautiful Connemara region filled with lakes, rivers, bogs and mountains.

  • Kylemore Abbey Tour

    Visit this abbey built in 1868 and see its most famous feature—a miniature cathedral. Afterwards, visit the Dan O’Hara Homestead for a unique insight into the history of the Connemara region and Western Ireland.

Day 8

Galway to Dublin

Leave Galway for Dublin today. Explore the north side of the city and its striking monuments, such as the General Post Office. The city’s south side appears more sophisticated with its vast Georgian squares, the elegant Trinity College, Dublin Castle and two Anglican Cathedrals.

  • EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum

    This is a state-of-the-art interactive experience located in the beautiful vaults of the Custom House Quarter building in Dublin, the original departure point for many of Irish emigrants.

  • Evening Entertainment at Taylor’s Three Rock

    When option 2 is selected:

    Ireland’s most loved pub and entertainment venue—Taylor’s Three Rock—involves a rip roaring evening of traditional Irish song and dance accompanied by a great selection of Irish food to delight your palate.

Return to Canada

Transfer on your own to Dublin Airport for your departure flight home to Canada.
