Day 1
Depart Canada
Fly to Rome.
Day 2 - 5
Welcome to Rome
Upon your arrival at the airport, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. Get settled for your 4-night stay and start planning your personal itinerary to explore the city’s iconic landmarks at your own pace.

Day 6 - 12
Rome to your 1st selected city: At Leisure for 7 nights
Start your day by heading to the train station to board the train to your first long-stay destination. Upon arrival in your chosen city, make your way to your hotel, settle in and enjoy a week immersed in the charm and romance of Italy, with ample time to explore at your own pace. A local representative will be on hand throughout your stay to help arrange excursions and suggest must-see sights and experiences.
• Florence: During your stay in Florence, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the region at your own pace. You may choose to visit iconic museums like the Uffizi and Pitti Palace, take day trips to charming Tuscan towns such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Pienza or Montepulciano and enjoy the scenic landscapes and renowned wines of the Chianti area.
• Venice: During your stay in Venice, take the opportunity to experience the city’s unique charm at your own pace. You might enjoy a guided boat tour along the Grand Canal, visit the colourful islands of Murano and Burano or treat yourself to a classic gondola ride through Venice’s romantic canals.
• Palermo: During your stay in Palermo, Sicily, you’ll have time to explore the city and its surroundings at your leisure. Consider discovering Palermo’s rich history on a city tour, visiting the impressive cathedral in Monreale and the ancient ruins of Segesta or taking a day trip to the charming coastal town of Cefalù.

Day 13 - 26
Off to your 2nd selected city : At Leisure for 14 nights
Make your way to the train station and board the train to your next city. Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel and settle in for the next two weeks.
• Amalfi: During your stay in Amalfi, take the time to explore the picturesque villages along the coast like Ravello, Positano and Atrani. Enjoy leisurely beach days, local hikes and boat excursions and indulge in regional cuisine and limoncello tastings.
• Florence: During your stay in Florence, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the region at your own pace. You may choose to visit iconic museums like the Uffizi and Pitti Palace, take day trips to charming Tuscan towns such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Pienza or Montepulciano, and enjoy the scenic landscapes and renowned wines of the Chianti area.
• Catania: During your stay in Catania, enjoy the freedom to explore eastern Sicily at your own pace. You might stroll through the historic centre on a Catania city tour, venture to the slopes of Mount Etna, visit the stunning town of Taormina, explore the baroque beauty of Ortigia or take a day trip to the remarkable Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.

Return to Rome : At Leisure
Following breakfast, you’ll make your own way to the train station for your return journey to Rome. Once there, you’ll make your way to the hotel and check in. Take advantage of your final day to relax or pick up any last-minute souvenirs.

Rome - Return to Canada
After breakfast, you’ll take your transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

If you choose the Sicily option, a local flight from Rome to Palermo and a return flight from Catania to Rome are included, along with round-trip transfers between your hotels and the airports.
If you opt for the Florence–Amalfi option, a round-trip private transfer between the Salerno train station and your hotel in Amalfi is included.
