Day 2-4

Welcome Frankfurt — Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Frankfurt, take a private transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the next three nights discovering Frankfurt and its surrounding areas.

Frankfurt is the financial centre of Germany and is a city of many faces. Explore the central business district, Bankenviertal, where you can find all ten of the country’s tallest skyscrapers. Nearby, you’ll find the Museumsufer district, a neighbourhood of museums to keep you fascinated for days.

Be sure to check out St Paul’s Church, the home of Germany’s first democratic parliament, and the childhood home of the famous writer, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, or exciting neighbourhoods like Sachsenhausen, where the nightlife is always bustling and the taverns serve traditional Apfelwein.

If you decide on a day trip, you can use Germany’s famously efficient rail service, and visit places like Heidelberg, Baden-Baden or the Rhine Valley.

Meal(s): Breakfast on day 3-4

Day 5-7

Frankfurt to Berlin — Sightseeing

After breakfast, make your way to the train station in Frankfurt and board your train to Berlin. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel. Spend the next three nights discovering this amazing city and its historical significance.

Explore the rich history of Germany’s capital. There’s much more to see in this metropolis than the remnants of the Berlin Wall; start with the modernist housing estates built between 1919 and 1933, which also serve as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As you wander the city, feel free to embark on an optional tour to get the most out of this historic capital. We recommend “Cold War and Third Reich,” “Memorial Visits,” “East Berlin and Berlin Wall,” “Berlin’s Present and Past,” to name a few.

Meal(s): Breakfast

Day 8-10

Berlin to Munich — Sightseeing

After breakfast, make your way to the train station in Berlin and board your train to Munich. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel. Spend your last three nights exploring Bavaria’s capital.

Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in the lush environments of lakes, parks and beer gardens, expand your mind at museums and historical sites, or just go for some retail therapy, Munich offers something for everyone. If you decide to go for a day trip, some popular ones include: Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace Day Tour, Salzburg Sightseeing Day Tour by Rail, and Romantic Road, Rothenburg, and Harburg Day Tour.
