Day 1
Depart Canada
Welcome to Guadalajara!
Daytime flight to Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport.
Upon arrival, clear customs and immigration, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit. A local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign bearing your name and will assist you with your transfer to the hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Guadalajara – San Pedro Tlaquepaque – Guadalajara
After breakfast, embark on a full-day cultural journey through the heart of Jalisco, discovering architectural treasures, cultural landmarks and vibrant local traditions.
Afterward, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque city tour
Begin your day exploring the historic heart of Guadalajara. Visit iconic landmarks including the twin-spired Guadalajara Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, the historic Teatro Degollado and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Hospicio Cabañas, where you can admire José Clemente Orozco’s breathtaking murals.
In the afternoon, head to the colourful town of San Pedro Tlaquepaque. Walk along its pedestrianized cobblestone avenues lined with colonial mansions, high-end Mexican craft galleries and glassblowing workshops. Conclude your tour with time to enjoy live mariachi music at El Parian.

Day 3
Guadalajara – Tequila – Guadalajara
After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and set off on a captivating full-day excursion to Tequila, Jalisco’s most iconic Pueblo Mágico, located just an hour from Guadalajara.
After the excursion, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Begin your day with a scenic drive through the breathtaking blue agave landscapes of Jalisco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, en route to the iconic town of Tequila. Along the way, gain insight into the centuries-old traditions and modern techniques behind the production of Mexico’s most celebrated spirit.
Upon arrival, visit the legendary La Rojeña distillery, home of José Cuervo Tequila and the oldest operating distillery in Latin America. Enjoy a guided tour of the facilities, learn about the agave harvesting (jima) and distillation process, and take part in a tutored tequila tasting experience. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore the town’s charming central square and soak in its vibrant atmosphere.

Day 4
Guadalajara – Puerto Vallarta – Nuevo Nayarit
After breakfast and check-out, meet your local representative in the hotel lobby. They will assist you with your transfer to the bus terminal. From there, enjoy a scenic four-hour journey to the Mexican Pacific jewel of Puerto Vallarta.
Note: Your bus transfer to Puerto Vallarta will be unescorted.
Upon arrival at the Puerto Vallarta bus station, a local representative will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign bearing your name and will assist you with your transfer to the hotel in Nuevo Nayarit.
The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Nuevo Nayarit – Puerto Vallarta – Nuevo Nayarit
After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and embark on a half-day journey through Puerto Vallarta, experiencing its vibrant Mexican spirit, colourful atmosphere and relaxed coastal charm.
Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Highlights of Puerto Vallarta tour
Begin with a stroll along the iconic Malecón boardwalk to admire famous seaside sculptures and visit the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Continue through the charming Romantic Zone, with its traditional cobblestone streets and tile-roofed architecture.
In the afternoon, travel south along the scenic coastal highway past Mismaloya Beach toward the lush mountains of the Sierra Madre. Stop at a local distillery to learn about the production process of artisanal tequila and enjoy a tasting before taking in sweeping views of Banderas Bay.

Nuevo Nayarit – Banderas Bay – Nuevo Nayarit

Note: Your local representative will advise you of the departure pier for your excursion.

Sea Safari Adventure tour
Your day begins with a scenic drive to the pier, where you’ll board a speedboat and travel across the bay to the secluded coastal village of Quimixto or Yelapa. The specific village will be confirmed by your local tour guide at destination.
Upon arrival, choose between a horseback ride or a guided hike through the lush tropical rainforest to a secluded mountain waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.
Afterward, continue to peaceful ocean coves, where you can kayak, paddleboard or snorkel while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Nuevo Nayarit – Islas Marietas – Nuevo Nayarit
After breakfast, meet your local guide and set sail on an exciting full-day adventure to one of Puerto Vallarta’s best known national parks, Islas Marietas National Park.
Note: Your local representative will advise you of the departure pier for your excursion.
After your visit to Islas Marietas National Park, you will be transferred back to the pier, where a local representative will be waiting for you with an Air Canada Vacations sign bearing your name and assist you with your transfer back to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Islas Marietas snorkelling & swimming excursion
Islas Marietas National Park is a protected sanctuary famous for its rich biodiversity and volcanic rock formations.
Upon arrival at the national park, slip into the turquoise waters for a guided snorkelling tour along the coral reefs around the islands. Enjoy time swimming or relaxing on board, taking in the panoramic island scenery.
