Day 1
Depart Canada
Overnight flight to São Paulo.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at São Paulo International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration. After, collect your luggage and proceed to check in for your connecting flight to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport.
Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your journey continues with an exhilarating 6-hour* private tour. First stop, the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. Begin your adventure with a scenic cable car ride to Urca Mountain, the midway point between ground level and Sugarloaf. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink ($) and sample some signature Brazilian dishes ($) before continuing your exciting ascent to the summit of Sugarloaf.

After descending Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car, your dedicated driver will take you on a guided cultural stroll through Rio’s historic Old Town, immersing you in the city's rich heritage.
Your tour guide will then take you to the top of Corcovado Mountain, standing 700 meters above sea level, where you’ll visit Rio’s iconic symbol—the Christ the Redeemer statue, towering at 38 meters tall.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Begin your adventure with a thrilling cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain, where stunning panoramic views of the city and coastline await. Next, immerse yourself in the rich history of Rio with a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of the old town and city center, where Portuguese-era architecture and lively markets come to life. Finally, ascend the iconic Corcovado Mountain to stand in awe before the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This unforgettable journey through Rio’s highlights promises a perfect blend of culture, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable memories.

Day 4
Rio de Janeiro – Iranduba
After breakfast and check out, your dedicated driver will take you to Rio de Janeiro International Airport for your flight to the Gateway to the Amazon, Manaus!
Upon arrival at Manaus Eduardo Gomes International Airport, a dedicated driver will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name and take you to your lodge in the Amazon for check-in.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, with the freedom to spend the evening as you wish. Choose one of the following complimentary activities offered at the lodge:
- Evening motorboat jungle ride
- Visit to a local caboclo house (house of a local family)
- Fishing
After completing your chosen activity, you will be transferred back to the lodge. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Evening motorboat jungle ride
Depart the lodge on paddle or motor canoes to listen to the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility of spotting alligators and other creatures. Carrying a flashlight, alligators are easily spotted—two shining red lights among the foliage. Once the guide spots an alligator, they will try to catch a small one with their bare hands, bringing the animal on board for a brief explanation of the habitat of this primeval animal, hunting methods and the animal itself. After a brief stay on board including photos (no flash photography), the alligator is safely released to its habitat. (Animals are handled with care, and guides cause no harm to the animals).

Visit to a Coboclo house (house of a local family)
Depart the lodge on boat or motor canoe and visit a local family, called the “caboclos”, to learn about their traditions and customs and the rich history of the Amazon, the rubber cycle, and much more. During the visit you will see how cassava meal is prepared and how they smoke the extracted rubber sap.
Duration: 1 hour.

Fishing
A non-professional fishing activity. Depending on the season, you may catch the elusive piranha that subtly nibbles your bait or other species. The guide shows some of the piranha’s tricks and explains how to catch them.
Duration: 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Iranduba
After breakfast, you’ll have the chance to choose up to two activities for today’s adventure. Choose wisely and enjoy the journey.

Iranduba – Foz do Iguaçu
After breakfast and checkout, your dedicated driver will take you on a scenic 2.5-hour* drive to Manaus International Airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu International Airport.
Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will greet you holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you on an exciting adventure to explore the majestic Iguaçu Falls from the Brazilian side.
Afterwards, your transfer will take you to your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu to check-in. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
