Day 1
Depart Canada
Overnight flight to São Paulo.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at São Paulo International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration. After, collect your luggage and proceed to check in for your connecting flight to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport.
Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, start your day with an exhilarating guided group tour of the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. Begin your adventure with a scenic cable car ride to Urca Mountain, the midway point between ground level and Sugarloaf. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink ($) and sample some signature Brazilian dishes ($) before continuing your exciting ascent to the summit of Sugarloaf.
After descending Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car, your dedicated driver will take you on a guided cultural stroll through Rio’s historic Old Town, immersing you in the city's rich heritage.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Rest of the evening at your leisure.

Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, embark on a shared guided tour to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain. Enjoy breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro as you ascend, with panoramic vistas of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, and Sugarloaf Mountain unfolding below you. Spend time marveling at this iconic landmark, standing tall at 30 meters, and soaking in the beauty of the city from above.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel to spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Christ the Redeemer and Corcovado Mountain tour
A specially designed train will take you from the foot of the mountain along a winding road through the magical Tijuca rainforest where you will see some of the enchanting tropical wildlife on constant display in Rio, such as toucans, monkeys and armadillos. At the summit of Corcovado, 700m above sea level, proudly stands the iconic 38m high statue of Christ the Redeemer. As you approach the statue, immerse yourself in the stunning panoramic view of the city.

Rio de Janeiro – Búzios
After breakfast, a dedicated driver will take you on a scenic 3-hour* drive to Búzios, the enchanting town known as the "Saint-Tropez of Brazil"! Enjoy breathtaking views of lush greenery as you drive along the picturesque roads.
*Driving time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions
Upon arrival at your hotel, check in and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
