Day 1
Depart Canada
Overnight flight to São Paulo.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at São Paulo International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration. After, collect your luggage and proceed to check in for your connecting flight to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport.
Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your journey continues with a half-day city tour, featuring the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. After descending Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car, your dedicated driver will take you on a guided cultural stroll through Rio’s historic Old Town, immersing you in the city's rich heritage.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Begin your adventure with a scenic cable car ride to Urca Mountain, the midway point between ground level and Sugarloaf. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink ($) and sample some signature Brazilian dishes ($) before continuing your exciting ascent to Sugarloaf’s summit.
Next, immerse yourself in the rich history of Rio with a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of the old town and city center, where Spanish architecture and lively markets come to life. Rio de Janeiro - Paraty

Immerse yourself in nature and discover the local culture within Serra da Bocaina National Park. Your journey will take you to Pedra Branca, Poço do Tarzan, and the stunning Tobogã Waterfalls, perfect for a refreshing swim in its crystalline waters. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of local flora and fauna.
Learn about the production of Paraty's famous artisanal cachaça. Enjoy tastings of various liqueurs and aged cachaças as part of this experience ($). Additionally, visit the Ouro Branco House of Flour. Cap off your day with a delightful afternoon coffee made from freshly ground grains, paired with rapadura, a beloved Brazilian sweet (tasting optional).

Paraty – Saco de Mamanguá
After breakfast, your group guide will take you on a short walk to the boat to Saco do Mamanguá, Brazil’s only 'tropical fjord'. This unique marine ecosystem and tropical paradise is located on the nearby Juatinga Peninsular Eco-Reserve. On this tour, we visit the Saco do Mamanguá region aboard a shared speedboat, which provides a delightful atmosphere during navigation. The journey itself is already a spectacle, with an incredible landscape of natural beauty, ideal for those seeking contact with nature. The tour makes three stops of 40 minutes each, at beautiful beaches where you can explore the wonders of Saco do Mamanguá.

After breakfast and checking out, a dedicated driver will take you on a scenic two-hour* drive to Angra dos Reis.

Upon arrival, embark on an exciting tropical island-hopping adventure aboard a comfortable boat*. You'll explore the breathtaking beauty of the Angra dos Reis archipelago and immerse yourself in the natural wonders of this enchanting destination.

Christ the Redeemer and Corcovado Mountain tour
A specially designed train will take you from the foot of the mountain along a winding road through the magical Tijuca rainforest where you will see some of the enchanting tropical wildlife on constant display in Rio, such as toucans, monkeys and armadillos. At the summit of Corcovado, 700m above sea level, proudly stands the iconic 38m high statue of Christ the Redeemer. As you approach the statue, immerse yourself in the stunning panoramic view of the city.

Days 9-11
Rio de Janeiro
Spend the rest of your days in Rio de Janeiro at leisure. Here, the sun shines bright and adventure awaits around every corner. Stroll along the stunning beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, then savour local cuisine at beachfront kiosks. Explore lively streets filled with colourful art and culture, or take a cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain for breathtaking views of the city.
After, spend a day exploring the vibrant art scene in Santa Teresa, known for its colourful murals and charming galleries, or take a leisurely walk through the botanical gardens.
We also recommend visiting Tijuca National Park or seeing the iconic Selarón Steps for some souvenir photos. You could even take a samba class to get a true sense of the rhythm of Brazil.
No matter how you choose to spend these last few days, Brazil promises unforgettable memories to last a lifetime.

Rio de Janeiro – São Paulo – Canada
After breakfast and checking out, your dedicated driver will take you to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão–Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport for your flight to São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport. From there, you will transfer to your flight back to Canada.
