Day 1
Depart Canada
Fly to Reykjavik.
Day 2
Welcome to Iceland
Upon arrival in Iceland, take a transfer to your hotel via Flybus
Spend the remainder of the day at your own leisure to explore.
In the evening, you will meet your tour guide.
Overnight in Reykjavik.

Day 3
REYKJAVIK – GOLDEN CIRCLE – BORGARNES (approx. 310 km)
After breakfast, leave for “Gullfoss,” the Golden Waterfall, and the geothermal area where the great Strokkur Geyser is located. Take a break with free time for lunch in the area, then continue to Thingvellir National Park, home to the world’s oldest parliament, founded in 930. It is one of the country's most important historical sites, with its unique geology. It's also one of the few places on Earth where the tectonic plate boundary is visible on the surface.
In the late afternoon, continue toward Borgarnes, a beautiful and peaceful region that is home to some of the most powerful hot springs in Europe.

Day 4
BORGARNES – SKAGAFJÖRÐUR REGION – AKUREYRI REGION (approx. 300 km)
After breakfast, head north with a first stop at the beautiful waterfalls of Hraunfossar which come from a lava field, and Barnafossar (the Children’s waterfall). Continue toward the fertile plateau region of Skagafjörður. This is one of Iceland’s most prosperous agricultural areas, with extensive dairy farming and sheep breeding, as well as horse breeding, for which the region is especially famous. After, visit the Glaumbær Folk Museum. This former turf-roofed farmhouse has been transformed into an open-air museum. Some of the buildings, with their typical architecture, date back as far as the 18th century. Stop in the coastal village of Blönduós for some free time to enjoy lunch on your own

Day 5
AKUREYRI REGION – MÝVATN (approx. 280 km)
After breakfast, head to Akureyri, the country’s second-largest city located about 100 kilometers from the Arctic Circle.
As an old trading port founded by the Danes in the 17th century, the city has always maintained a strong connection to the sea. It boasts an exceptional setting thanks to the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Continue to Goðafoss, “The Waterfall of the Gods,” then explore the Lake Mývatn area, a region world-renowned for its unique geological and ornithological sites. Stop for an independent lunch along the way.
You’ll explore the many natural wonders of the region, such as the famous lava formations of Dimmuborgir (“The Dark Castle”) with its mystical volcanic caves, the geothermal area of Hverarönd, and the impressive craters of Skútustaðir.

Day 6
MÝVATN – EAST FJORDS REGION (approx. 370 km)
Breakfast and departure for another day full of highlights.
After breakfast, it’s time to depart for whale watching on a boat excursion. Húsavík offers one of the best whale-watching spots in the world with a chance to see humpback whales and minke whales. The birdlife here is also remarkable. After lunch on your own, head to Ásbyrgi and its impressive horseshoe-shaped canyon, then to Hljóðaklettar with its basalt rock formations.
The journey continues with a stop at the stunning Dettifoss waterfall, exceptionally beautiful in this lunar-like landscape. Then, continue toward the East Fjords.

Day 7
EASTERN FJORDS REGION – VIK REGION (approx. 450 km)
After breakfast, you’ll depart by bus to the south of Icelandwhere you’ll explore the Vatnajökull glacier, including the impressive Jökulsárlón site. Depart for a memorable 40-minute amphibian boat cruise on Lake Jökulsárlón among the bluish icebergs originating from the Vatnajökull glacier, which is one of the largest glaciers in Europe. Lunch on your own, followed by a visit to Skaftafell National Park, one of the most beautiful regions in the country, home to, among others, the Svinafellsjökull glacier. Continue to Eldhraun, the largest lava field in the world. Then, pass through Vík, an important producer of Icelandic wool, famous for its stunning black sand beaches and black rock cliffs, as well as Reynisfjara beach and the Dyrhólaey lighthouse.

Day 8
VIK REGION – REYKJAVIK (approx. 210 KM
Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast, it’s time to return to Reykjavik. On the way, stop at the Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls.Dizzying and magnificent, they are perfect for taking stunning photos.
After, stop for lunch on your own along the route. In the afternoon, arrive in Reykjavik for a panoramic tour of the capital with some free time. End the day with dinner on your own.

Return Home
After breakfast, take your transfer back to your airport via Flybus.
