-If access to Machu Picchu is through the Inca Trail, the ticket only includes the visit to the Inca citadel (llaqta).
-For all train services to and/or from Machu Picchu, passengers are allowed to carry only one piece of hand luggage (backpack, handbag, or briefcase) weighing less than 11 pounds or 5 kilograms. Any other luggage that does not meet these requirements cannot be transported.

Day 1
Depart Canada
Overnight flight to Lima.
Day 2
Welcome to Lima
Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Afterward, proceed to collect your luggage and proceed to the exit where a local representative will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel. Your early check-in is included!
The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.

Day 3
Lima
After an early breakfast, meet your dedicated tour guide in the hotel lobby and embark on the delightful Peruvian Gastronomic Classics tour in Barranco. Prepare to indulge your taste buds with up to 15 unique flavours.
After, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, with the rest of the day free to relax or explore at your own pace.

Enjoy the best Peruvian cuisine in one of Lima’s most iconic districts. Led by local experts, you’ll walk around the bohemian streets of Barranco looking for 15 culinary experiences to pamper your taste buds. Ceviche, coffee, pisco drinks, and even chocolates will all be encountered as you learn the history and culture behind each ingredient and dish.

Lima
After breakfast, meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and set off on an exciting half-day tour! Uncover centuries of history, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture that tell the story of this captivating city.

Today’s tour reveals two fascinating sides of the city — its modern elegance in Miraflores and San Isidro, and its historic charm in the UNESCO-listed old town. As we travel through its districts, you’ll see how the old and new blend seamlessly in landmarks such as the Museum of Italian Art, Palace of Justice, and Plaza San Martín.
Explore the heart of the city on foot at the Main Square, surrounded by the Government Palace, Cathedral, and Archbishop’s Palace. Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, home to the relics of Peru’s three saints — Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martín de Porres, and San Juan Macías.Finally, discover the renowned Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, with its 45,000 pre-Hispanic artifacts, exquisite jewelry, textiles, and the famous “erotic room” — a unique glimpse into ancient fertility symbolism.

Day 5
Lima – Cusco
After an early with a light breakfast and checking out, meet your local representative, who will assist with your transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your flight to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca empire.
Welcome to Cusco! Upon arrival, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a local representative will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel to check in.
Rest of the day at leisure. For those who wish to further explore the region’s local culture, an optional activity is available at an additional cost. This activity must be reserved and paid directly with your local representative.

Day 6
Cusco – Maras – Moray – Misminay – Urubamba
After breakfast and check-out, meet your local representative in the hotel lobby and depart for a full-day exploration of the Sacred Valley.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Urubamba for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Full-day Sacred Valley tour
Your journey begins at Maras, where you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the ancient salt mines. From above, admire nearly 3,000 terraced salt pools cascading down the mountainside, where the prized Maras salt, considered among the finest in the world, has been harvested since Inca times. The striking mosaic of terraces and shimmering ponds offers exceptional opportunities for photography.
Next, visit the archaeological site of Moray, an impressive complex of enormous concentric terraces resembling a natural amphitheater. Believed to have served as an agricultural laboratory and research center during the Tahuantinsuyo, Moray’s unique design created a variety of microclimates that allowed the Incas to experiment with and cultivate different crops.
The day concludes with a visit to the traditional community of Misminay, where you will experience an authentic cultural exchange and gain insight into the Andean way of life. Welcomed with warm hospitality, traditional music, and local dances, you will have the opportunity to interact with community members and learn about their daily activities, including farming, harvesting, and textile weaving practices that have been passed down through generations.

Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu - Cusco
After breakfast and check-out, your Peruvian adventure reaches its most anticipated moment with a visit to the legendary Machu Picchu, the undeniable highlight of the journey. Set high in the Andes and surrounded by dramatic scenery, this extraordinary experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Please note:
-Your journey to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, will be aboard the *Voyager or *Expedition train. Please note that train policies allow each passenger to carry only one small backpack weighing up to 5 kg (11lbs) during the stay at Machu Picchu. We recommend packing light and bringing just the essentials. Items such as sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent will help ensure your comfort throughout the excursion. Any luggage exceeding the limit will be safely transferred and waiting for you at your hotel in Aguas Calientes

Full-day Machu Picchu tour
One of the most important tourist landmarks in the world awaits us: Machu Picchu! Your adventure will begin aboard the train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, a picturesque town at the foot of the emblematic Inca citadel. During the train ride we can enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings, with impressive views of majestic mountains, the Vilcanota river and small towns of the Peruvian Andes; a visual feast that fills us with anticipation for the visit to the wonder that is Machu Picchu. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes we will find ourselves in front of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, an unforgettable sight! From there, we will explore the ancient ruins, learning all about the history and mysteries that this mystical and impressive place holds. Surrounded by incomparable landscapes, there will be no shortage of spectacular photo opportunities! Once we have recharged ourselves with the magical energy of Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes where we will have free time to have lunch and explore the streets a bit before boarding our return train.

Cusco – Lima
After breakfast and check-out, you'll be transferred to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport for your flight to Lima, The Gastronomic Capital of the Americas!
Cusco Hotel to Cusco Airport Transfer Information
Comfort Accommodation: Guests staying in the Comfort Accommodation will be accommodated at a hotel located near the airport. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport every 20 minutes. Please arrange your preferred shuttle departure time directly with the hotel front desk upon check-in.
Premium Accommodation: Guests staying in the Premium Accommodation will be accommodated at a hotel located within the airport terminal area. Due to the hotel's convenient location, no airport transfer service is included or required, as the airport is within easy walking distance.
Upon arrival in Lima, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a local representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the airport hotel shuttle, which will take you to your accommodation near the airport.

Lima – Canada
After breakfast and check-out, the hotel-airport shuttle transfer will take you to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your return flight back to Canada.
