-Please note that your departure day from Canada is not included in the total number of days shown for your tour package.
-If your itinerary includes domestic and/or regional flight tickets, as well as entry tickets to landmarks that require passport details, you must call Air Canada Vacations immediately upon receiving your booking confirmation. Failure to provide Air Canada Vacations with your passport details may result in the unavailability of domestic and/or regional flight tickets and entry passes for certain landmarks included in your tour package. It is mandatory to call Air Canada Vacations at the number provided in your electronic confirmation as soon as your booking is confirmed to submit your passport details.
-If access to Machu Picchu is through the Inca Trail, the ticket only includes the visit to the Inca citadel (llaqta).
-For all train services to and/or from Machu Picchu, passengers are allowed to carry only one piece of hand luggage (backpack, handbag, or briefcase) weighing less than 11 pounds or 5 kilograms. Any other luggage that does not meet these requirements cannot be transported.

Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Lima
Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Afterward, proceed to collect your luggage and proceed to the exit where a local representative will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure.
Day 2
Lima
After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel and set off on a captivating half-day city tour, discovering the highlights and hidden gems of the destination.
Once the tour concludes, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure

Half-day city tour
Today’s tour reveals two fascinating sides of the city, its modern elegance in Miraflores and San Isidro, and its historic charm in the UNESCO-listed old town. As we travel through its districts, you’ll see how the old and new blend seamlessly in landmarks such as the Museum of Italian Art, Palace of Justice, and Plaza San Martín.
Explore the heart of the city on foot at the Main Square, surrounded by the Government Palace, Cathedral, and Archbishop’s Palace. Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, home to the relics of Peru’s three saints — Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martín de Porres, and San Juan Macías.
Finally, discover the renowned Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, with its 45,000 pre-Hispanic artifacts, exquisite jewelry, textiles, and the famous “erotic room”, a unique glimpse into ancient fertility symbolism.

Day 3
Lima – Cusco
Start your day bright and early with a light breakfast. After the checking out formalities are completed, meet your local representative, who will assist with your transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your flight to Cusco, The Archaeological Capital of the Americas!
Welcome to Cusco! Upon arrival, proceed to collect your luggage and proceed to the exit where a local representative will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel to check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Recommendations: To help your body acclimate to the altitude, we recommend following a light and easily digestible diet on your first day. Avoiding meat, fried foods, and heavy meals can significantly reduce the risk of altitude sickness. As a helpful tip, don’t forget to enjoy the complimentary hot infusions available 24/7 at the hotel reception, a soothing way to stay hydrated and ease the effects of altitude.

Day 4
Cusco – Sacred Valley
After an early breakfast and checking out, set off on today’s adventure with a the Full-Day History and Culture in Maras, Moray and Misminay tour!
Afterwards, you will be taken to your hotel in the Sacred Valley to check-in and settle in. Rest of the day at leisure.

Full-Day History and Culture in Maras, Moray and Misminay tour
Today is dedicated to discovering three jewels of the Sacred Valley of the Incas: Maras, Moray, and Misminay. From above, enjoy a majestic view of the ancient Maras salt mines, where nearly 3,000 pools have produced the prized Maras salt since Inca times and continue to support local families today. The striking mosaic of terraces and ponds creates a spectacular panoramic setting. The journey continues to Moray, an archaeological site shaped like a natural amphitheater, believed to have served as an Inca agricultural research center, where concentric terraces generated diverse microclimates for crop cultivation. The day concludes in the traditional community of Misminay, where a warm welcome of music and dance introduces an authentic cultural exchange, offering close insight into Andean daily life, from farming activities to traditional textile work.

Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco
After breakfast and check-out, your Peruvian adventure reaches its most anticipated moment with a visit to the legendary Machu Picchu, the undeniable highlight of the journey. Set high in the Andes and surrounded by dramatic scenery, this extraordinary experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Following an unforgettable day, you’ll return comfortably to Aguas Calientes before continuing onward to Cusco. Upon arrival at your hotel, the remainder of the day is yours to relax and reflect on the remarkable moments of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Full-day Machu Picchu tour
One of the most important tourist landmarks in the world awaits us: Machu Picchu! Our adventure will begin aboard the train to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, a picturesque town at the foot of the emblematic Inca citadel. During the train ride we can enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings, with impressive views of majestic mountains, the Vilcanota river and small towns of the Peruvian Andes; a visual feast that fills us with anticipation for the visit to the wonder that is Machu Picchu. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes we will find ourselves in front of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, an unforgettable sight! From there, we will explore the ancient ruins, learning all about the history and mysteries that this mystical and impressive place holds. Surrounded by incomparable landscapes, there will be no shortage of spectacular photo opportunities! Once we have recharged ourselves with the magical energy of Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes where we will have free time to have lunch and explore the streets a bit before boarding our return train.

Cusco
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cusco, where time seems to slow down and every moment invites you to soak in the magic of the Andes. Let the energy of this ancient city surround you as you savour its unique rhythm, a harmonious blend of tradition and modern life. Whether you're seeking stillness or simply embracing the charm of your surroundings, today is yours to unwind, recharge, and fully immerse yourself in the spirit of the Imperial City. For those looking to explore further, an optional tour is available at an additional cost and can be booked locally.

Day 7
Cusco – Lima
After breakfast and check-out, you'll be transferred to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport for your flight to Lima, The Gastronomic Capital of the Americas!
Upon arrival in Lima, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a local representative will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to the airport hotel shuttle, which will take you to your accommodation near the airport.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8
Lima – Canada
After breakfast and check-out, the hotel-airport shuttle transfer will take you to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your return flight back to Canada.
