Depart Canada
Fly to Lisbon.
Day 2
Welcome to Lisbon
Arrive in Lisbon and take your transfer to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at your own leisure.
Spend your first day in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, a fantastic city full of authenticity and stories to tell where old customs and ancient history intermix with cultural entertainment and historical monuments and World Heritage Sites blend with urban art by world-famous artists.
Day 3-5
Lisbon to Porto
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Transfer included to Lisbon Oriente Train Station. Take the train to Porto, in First Class, and the journey will take approximately three hours. Transfer from Campanhã railway station to your hotel in Porto.
Check in for 3 nights’ accommodation in Porto. Time to discover the second largest city in Portugal, known for its monuments variety, cultural richness, and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Half-day Porto City Tour
A guided tour to explore this beautiful city on the Douro riverbanks. Visit the superb cathedral, the neoclassical stock exchange palace, and the São Bento train station. Continue through the historic centre with narrow streets and squares and admire the incredible Livraria Lello bookshop. Visit a port wine cellar and sample some rich flavours.

Porto - Algarve
Check out from your hotel in Porto. Transfer included to the Porto Campanhã railway station. Travel in First Class from Porto to the Algarve, and the journey will take approximately 5.5 hours. Transfer from Tunes railway station to the hotel in the Algarve.
Then check in to an apartment-style accommodation for 17 nights on a self-catering basis. Time to enjoy the beautiful beaches, to admire unique landscapes and unspoiled nature, and to discover the local tradition and friendly people.

Full-day Historical Algarve Tour
Visit the mountains and see some remains of Moorish and Roman existence. The city of Silves, a pretty and historical town once the capital of the ancient Arab kingdom of Algarve. Take a walk up to the castle, one of the most beautiful military monuments in Islamic Portugal. See the Cathedral, once an ancient great Mosque, with Gothic and Baroque influences. Continue to the Monchique Mountains to Foia - the highest point of the Algarve, where you will have free time to take spectacular photos. Proceed to Lagos and visit this beautiful and ancient city, where in the 15th century, Henry the Navigator led the Portuguese into the Age of Discoveries. The tour continues to Cape St. Vicente, the most south-western point of Europe, once known as "the End of the World". Landmarks include the great lighthouse, the great fishing port of Baleeira, and the fortress of Sagres.
Day 23-25
Algarve - Lisbon
Check out of your hotel/apartment in the Algarve and transfer to the train to Tunes train station. Arrive at Oriente train station and take a taxi (transfer not included) to your hotel in Lisbon. Check into your hotel in Lisbon and stay for three nights.

A tour to the charming and picturesque town of Sintra—classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO—sees the historic centre with its medieval streets with typical regional products. Continue to Cascais and Estoril before returning to Lisbon.

Explore Lisbon on a morning sightseeing tour and see the Belem Tower, the Jeronimos Monastery, the National Coach Museum, and discover Alfama and Rossio quarters. Continue to see the Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument, and Batalha Monastery. Stop for a coffee and taste the beautiful and famous ‘Pasteis de Belem’ pastry.
