Day 1

Depart Canada

Fly to Manchester.

 

Day 2

Welcome to Manchester & Northern England

Welcome to England! Collect your car at Manchester Airport and make your way to your hotel.

Manchester, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, offers vibrant shopping, fascinating history, and two famous football teams. Enjoy an open-top bus tour of the city or visit one of the football stadiums.

Day 3

Manchester to Yorkshire Dales & Lake District 175KM

After breakfast, travel from Manchester to the Lake District via the Yorkshire Dales. This National Park features stone-built villages, stunning landscapes, and vibrant communities, offering a true taste of England.

Day 4

Lake District, Sightseeing

Explore the Lake District independently or join a guided tour. Discover picturesque villages like Hawkshead and learn about literary figures such as Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, both inspired by the area's beauty.

Included:  a cruise on Lake Windermere.

Day 5

Northumberland National Park - Newcastle 200KM

Travel to the Newcastle area via Northumberland National Park, known for England’s cleanest rivers, purest air, and darkest skies. Enjoy a ranger-led e-bike tour around Hadrian’s Wall or visit a former Roman barracks. Visit Newcastle, once a hub of shipbuilding and coal mining,  now a vibrant city.

Stay overnight in Newcastle.

Day 6

Newcastle to York 150KM

Travel to York to explore this historic city, best experienced on foot. Walk down the Shambles, visit York Minster, and sample local chocolate at York’s Chocolate Story. Consider joining a ghost walk in the evening to hear about the haunted history of the city.

Day 7

North York Moors, Sightseeing

Enjoy a day tour to North York Moors National Park, where history and nature create a vibrant landscape rich in heritage and wildlife.

Day 8

York, Peak District to Manchester 75KM

Travel to Manchester via Peak District National Park, known for its homes, plateaus, and valleys. Discover the stories of Eyam, the historic plague village, and enjoy a walk in the dark peak.

Day 9

Return Home

Check out of your hotel and drive to Manchester Airport and drop off your car.

As most flights depart early, ensure to drop off your car early or the night before  to avoid any delays.
