Day 1
Welcome to Monterrey
Daytime flight to General Mariano Escobedo International Airport.
Upon arrival, clear customs and immigration, collect your luggage and proceed to the exit. A local representative will be waiting for you with an Air Canada Vacations sign bearing your name and will assist with your transfer to the hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Monterrey
After breakfast, embark on a full-day journey through one of northern Mexico’s most dynamic and culturally rich regions. Blending modern sophistication with deep-rooted traditions, this immersive experience showcases the area’s unique character, vibrant atmosphere and enduring heritage.
Following the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Discover the essence of Monterrey on a journey through its historic and cultural landmarks. Visit the magnificent cathedral, the municipal government building and the impressive Macroplaza, one of the largest public squares in the world. Then learn about the city’s rich heritage at the Palace Museum.
Continue to Paseo Santa Lucía, a scenic canal that commemorates the historic spring where Monterrey was founded, and enjoy a boat ride to Fundidora Park, which beautifully blends nature, culture and industrial history.

García Caves and Historic Centre tour
García Caves are one of Nuevo León’s most popular attractions, renowned for their impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations. Ascend about 200 metres by cable car to the entrance of the caves. Then explore geological formations that date back millions of years, some of which continue to evolve today. Among the most notable formations are El Mirador de la Mano, El Salón del Aire, La Octava Maravilla, El Nacimiento, La Fuente Congelada, La Torre China, El Teatro, and El Árbol de Navidad, among others.
After exploring the caves, continue to García’s historic centre to discover more about the town’s heritage and character. Sample traditional local dishes and admire the distinctive northeastern architecture that gives García its unique charm.

Afterward, visit La Huasteca Ecological Park before returning to your hotel to enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
