Porto, its historical center, never touched by invaders, is registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The historical value of the Old Cathedral, the Church of St. Francis and the Torre dos Clérigos combined with the contemporary buildings as the Serralves Museum and the “Casa da Música” (House of Music), revealing the unique climate of the city.

Known as the City of  Seven Hills, Lisbon is Portugal’s capital and is located on the mouth of the Tagus river and is famous for its hospitality, gastronomy and rich cultural heritage. Lisbon is a historical city full of authenticity and stories to tell where old customs and ancient history intermix with cultural entertainment, where historical monuments and World Heritage Sites blend with urban art by world famous artists.

Fly to Porto.

Day 2-5

Welcome to Portugal

Arrive at Porto Airport and take a private transfer to your hotel.

After checking in, you’ll have plenty of time to explore at your own pace.

Spend 4 nights in Porto and take advantage of your “More Moments” activities included.

One of the oldest cities in Europe, Porto’s old town in the city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996! It is no surprise that Porto is a city with a rich history and culture. Discover the 2nd largest city in Portugal. Known by its many and varied monuments, from the cathedral with its Romanesque choir, the neoclassical Stock Exchange Palace to the typically Portuguese Manueline style Church of Santa Clara, Porto also offers the cultural richness of a big city.

    Depart from the meeting point (no pick-up included from your hotel). Explore the enchanting city of Porto aboard a comfortable tuk-tuk. Discover Porto's iconic landmarks, and picturesque neighbourhoods, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Immerse yourself in the city's vibrant culture and rich history passing by Clérigos Tower, Alaidos Avenue, São Bento Railway Station, Porto’s Cathedral, Stock Exchange Palace, Santa Catarina Street and the Ribeira. At the end of the tour, experience the Porto Six Bridges cruise.

    A full-day tour to the Douro Valley in a minivan, departing from Porto, including lunch and a boat cruise.

    Take a close look at the fascinating landscape of what is considered the world’s first wine-demarcated region. Discover magnificent routes surrounded by the vineyards of Portugal’s most famous wine region, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Breathe the fresh air of Douro Valley while sampling world-class wines and enjoy a traditional meal.

Day 6-9

Porto - Lisbon

Check-out of your hotel and transfer included to Porto-Campanhã Train Station. Take the train to Lisbon and travel in First Class (tarin tickets included), to Lisbon-Oriente Train Station. (Transfer from Oriente Train Station to hotel not included).

Check into a bed and breakfast and stay in Lisbon for 4 nights.

Spend your time in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Lisbon is a fantastic city to visit with its monuments, museums, restaurants, religious and historic buildings, gardens and cultural places.

  • Full-day Sintra and Lisbon Tour - Departure from the Meeting Point

    A full day of beauty and history tour  to  Sintra, Cascais, Belém and Lisbon. Leave Lisbon and head towards the charming town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and begin a guided tour of the exterior of the stunning Pena Palace (ticket included), an architectural masterpiece set amongst lush gardens. This visit will include a walk through several of the stunning corners of the palace's exterior, exploring its enchanting gardens and marveling at the stunning panoramic views offered by the various courtyards and balconies.

    Visit Sintra's historic centre and enjoy free time to stroll through the charming and winding streets, to explore the traditional shops or enjoy a delicious lunch (not included) in one of the charming local restaurants. After lunch, continue to Cascais, a charming seaside town where you'll have free time to explore the beach or the historic center. Arriving in Lisbon start with a panoramic tour of Belém, admire the imposing Belém Tower and the symbolic Monument to the Discoveries. Stop off at the grand Jerónimos Monastery and walk to the famous Pastéis de Belém house, for a tasting (included).

    The tour ends with a panoramic tour of Lisbon's city center, providing engaging explanations while taking in Lisbon's emblematic landmarks such as the Estrela neighborhood, the São Pedro Alcântara viewpoint, Cais do Sodré, Avenida da Ribeira das Naus, Praça do Comércio, Largo Camões, Rossio and Restauradores.

  • Fado Dinner & Show (no transfers included from your hotel)

    Night out for a farewell dinner and Fado show with drinks at one of Fado restaurants in Alfama or Bairro Alto quarters.

    Fado is the ‘musical expression of the Portuguese people’ with a UNESCO World Heritage status, as an urban Lisbon song symbolic of the city and the country. Literally Fado means ‘faté’ or ‘destiny’ and is considered Lisbon’s version of the blues, marked by a heartfelt emotion voice and a Portuguese guitar. Each eruptive ballad evokes the Portuguese emotion of saudade, a longing for something lost.

Return Home

Check out of your hotel and take a private transfer to Lisbon Airport.
